"Great Vietnamese food on Rivington Street in the Lower East Side. I was there at 5.30 on a Tuesday and apparently there was also a Happy Hour in effect which I didn't even realize I think you got a couple dollars off each drink and appetizer. We got the Yuzu Margarita and the Mango Mule for drinks, also got one of the Purple flower drinks with gin later and they were all good. Definitely Spring weather drinks. We got the Grilled Salmon Rolls appetizer which was a cold salmon spring roll type of dish with a vinegar dipping sauce. This was great! One of the best dishes of the night with lots of fresh mint in it. Also the Chive Cake Dumpling , those were ok but the Salmon Roll was better. For mains we got a Massaman shrimp curry with rice and a yellow curry with angel noodles. Both were really nice and filling. The staff are extremely nice too and the interior has plants hanging from the ceiling and has a cool vibe. I wouldn't mind if the curries were a bit spicier but I didn't ask for it so they come pretty mild but they were good. Definitely recommend this place. Good prices too . Afterwards you can walk over to the ice cream place on Ludlow and Houston."

Coconut Spicy Lemongrass was absolutely amazing. Perfectly spiced. The Sandwich was dry to my taste. Service was good. Food came out quick. Getting a free Thai Iced Tea with Yelp Check-In.

Red curry with shrimp was delicious! Whoever makes the shrimp knows what they're doing-the shrimp are flavorful, so well seasoned! The coco spicy lemongrass is always delicious-I am in love with the fried tofu and want more!

I had the classic pho with a mix of beef, and it was excellent—truly soul food! The small size was quite filling. The shrimp fried egg roll was also tasty. Their Thai tea was sweeter than what I’ve had at other places, but it was still enjoyable.

Many thanks for making my perfect order! Yellow curry soup was delicious- omg the noodles were perfect. I've tried all curries and recommend all of them! I love the shrimp and veggies! Thank you Ginger Lemongrass for the joy I get when eating your food : View menu

Adorable indoor seating area and very nice and efficient service. I had a vermicelli bowl, which was ok but the grilled shrimp were really more sautéed. Overall a nice experience. In the summer be aware that the street can be quite loud, it’s a small and cars idle right near the front.

I ordered the vegetarian pho... hmm personally, it wasn't my thing. If I knew that they used the fried tofu, I didn't order... also very strong mushroom smell and very bland soup... too bland and mild... I thought just vegetables water.... I didn't eat much... Curry was okay.. but not too special.. The interior was exotic, tho. Oh the Thai tea was also sweet quite a lot...

While the vegetarian pho was a bit bland, I appreciated that they used a vegetable-based broth instead of the typical chicken or beef. The spring rolls were paired with a peanut sauce that seemed to include almond butter, resulting in a richer color and deeper flavor compared to regular peanut butter. Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. It’s truly a charming place to dine. View menu

Was craving some light Vietnamese food for lunch found Ginger Lemongrass. The decor is lush transports customers to a small restaurant in Vietnam. My senses were piqued for a delicious lunch! Ordered the Grilled Pork (Banh Mi) Sandwich. Wow, the sandwich is rather large… I ordered 2 items as the sandwich price had me thinking “tiny bite”… also ordered Thai Mint Salad w/ Grilled Shrimp which also was a sizable portion. The flavors of the Thai Mint Salad w/ Grilled Shrimp was super tasty, fresh popping with delicate flavors. Top these delicious dishes with Vietnamese Iced Coffee I’m content. Definitely will stop in again to check out their pho .

Ginger and Lemongrass is the perfect restaurant. It has a quiet but lively atmosphere with beautiful hanging plants and lanterns. The food paired well with the atmosphere and made you feel relaxed as waiters served soothing soups and delicious sandwiches. I would highly recommend the ginger and honey lemonade as it provides quite the kick. Though if that’s not you’re thing you could drink the water as it is flavored with cucumber, fresh herbs and ginger. I also enjoyed the tofu sandwich because I found it tasty and comforting. Overall, I love this restaurant and the only thing I would change for me would be the amount of food since I find that it can be overwhelming when trying multiple dish...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
