"I walked into this location to make an order @7:12pm on 10/12/22, Wednesday night. The male staff working there told me they were CLOSED @7:12pm, and I figured that was strange as i'm well aware that gogo curry closes at 8pm as my apartment is just located above it.I observed that there was a delivery guy in the store picking up his order as well and yet the staff turned me away. I am asian and i suspect this guy running the store is plain racist.I double-confirmed the location's closing time on google to be 8pm, and to further confirm if the location is really closed, i placed an order on doordash for pickup and saw the order was accepted and was ready for pickup 15mins later.I called into the store before heading in to pickup my order, and the same guy answered, telling me over the phone that the store was open for walk-ins when i asked if they were still open.Furious, i went down to pick up my order and asked the same guy again why did he turn me away and he gave the excuse saying that he was cleaning up at the back and no one could run the kitchen. So i further questioned why would he tell me walk-ins are available over the phone? In addition, why doordash orders are accepted? He told me that unfortunately, he cannot cancel doordash orders lmao! Im guessing if he did, he'll be fired considering the business is struggling to keep afloat.I wanted to see what lies he would contort to save himself with.I knew he was packing up and ready to leave, also in hopes that no one would order anything so he can clean up and leave.Funny how businesses are striving hard to keep afloat yet such lazy employees are cutting the business of it's profits for their own gain and laziness.Included picture of said staff."

Quite good! The home run is a good deal. A nice mild Japanese style curry with cabbage, an egg, a shrimp and a sausage.

Had always enjoyed Japanese curry, but the cost of it has grown significantly for a comfort food. While the food was good, but doesn’t justify the price.Food: 3/5

Came here multiple times for lunch since I work nearby. I normally get mealpal. The staff is very quick and friendly. I love the rice texture it's a bit chewy. The meat is crispy and a decent amount. If you fancy Japanese curry, you have to try this place!

An Americanized version of an excellent Japanese chain. Every Go Go in Japan gives you all the Fukujinzuke you want. It's my favorite part of the curry Here you have to pay $2 for it. The sauce was right but there were no spice options like in Japan. The cabbage was shredded too thick. Also there are no chopsticks available.I love Go Go, but please don't try to Americanize it.Vegetarian options: Veggie Tempura Curry

I've visited Go Go Curry in their FiDi, Midtown, and Midtown East location since I randomly get Japanese curry cravings in the winter months. This location, like the others, is clean, well kept, and has the same 80's cafeteria vibes, though is a little smaller. Would recommend ordering online for takeout.Due to shrinkflation, the portion sizes are smaller than what there were a couple years ago (even changed containers) but Go Go Curry has me firmly in their grasp. Not sure what happened to this chain, but the quality of both food and service have gone significantly downhill since I first visited a few years ago. Got dinner at this particular location two days ago. Ordered Home Run at the register and the food was ready before I paid. There was only one person staffing the location, and he put together the order before I told him what I wanted to order ?. Obviously, everything was lukewarm and not fresh—the katsu, the sausage, the tempura shrimp, the egg... You name it. Saddest of all, the rice was pretty gross. Unfortunately I had similarly bad experience at another location as well, so this seems like a pattern for this chain. Needless to say, I won'...

Gogo curry is a pretty well known chain in Japan and for some reason I haven't been able to visit it. Pro tip: the size of meat you get is the same you get regardless of the curry you get. The only difference between small and large is the amount of rice you get. I went with the small and it was enough for me. The curry wasn't out of this world in terms of flavor and body, but it was the perfect comfort food for me on a cold winter day. The curry is inoffensive, a mildly rich earthy flavor. It wasn't spicy at all, but creamy enough to balance with the katsu. The pork cutlet was probably the most disappointing part of the meal, the meat was thin and had little fat, the breading probably made...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
