I have tried this place several times since moving to the Joelton area and absolutely love it. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your order. There is a good bit of grease on the food but that’s part of it in my opinion!Food: 5/5

I didn't think hot chicken could get any better, but I was mistaken! I dropped in for a chicken sandwich and some mac and cheese, and both were outstanding. The chicken was incredibly crispy and juicy, with an intense heat, and the mac and cheese is simply the best! The seasoning on the chicken is absolutely fantastic! Food: 5/5.

We decided to drive to the restaurant based on the reviews, but we found the food to be overpriced and overcooked. We ordered chicken tenders and baked potatoes. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and overcooked. We got three orders of four tenders each, one mac and cheese, one baked potato, and one side of fried okra, and the total came to $109. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

The food was decent, but it was too spicy for my taste. My main issue was with the pricing. I understand that inflation has driven prices up, but what I encountered felt excessive. I requested onions instead of ranch on my sandwich and was charged an additional $2 for that. There was also a random 15% service fee that added over $8 to the bill. We wanted to experience hot chicken in Nashville, so following some recommendations from YouTubers, we decided to venture beyond the downtown area. We made a special trip to Granddaddy’s Famous Hot Chicken, and it was absolutely worth it! The chicken was flavorful and juicy, and we stuck to the medium heat—call us cautious! I got the Mac Cheese (I don’t typically like Mac Cheese, but the way he described it sounded delicious) and it blew me away! The medium heat level was perfect and I couldn’t get enough of it!He brought us out some samples of his tacos with his homemade Pico, and it was mouth watering. The fries with the Cajun seasoning and ranch was *Chefs Kiss*I can’t say enough good things about this place! Don’t hesitate to check it out!10/10, will be back for sure!

I recently organized a golf trip with 32 golfers in Nashville and reached out to Granddaddy’s. Our group was BLOWN AWAY by their food and even more impressed by the quality of their service. The family put together a full menu for our event and everyone just raved about the kabobs, leg quarters, corn, etc. We did a mix of mild/medium/hot and tried to get several sides so our group had some variety. Everything was delicious. Granddad, his wife, and his boys hand delivered the order and we chatted for a bit.
