"We entered the restaurant and were promptly welcomed with a warm greeting and the enticing aroma of grilled food. I ordered the large beef sandwich with baked beans, while my wife went for the small rib plate with potato salad. The beef sandwich was flavorful, and my wife’s five ribs had a nice smoke ring and a delicious crust. It’s a straightforward spot to enjoy a meal, with friendly staff and great food. We will definitely return!"

My favorite ribs in town. Not your average modern BBQ joint, this place is loved by the locals, and is well known for what it is. Ribs sliced pork daily, pork chops, kabobs, and burgers on certain days. Highly recommend this place Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View menu

The best BBQ in town! Their BBQ sauce is absolutely amazing. It's a perfect spot for families, with seating available both inside and outside. It’s a family-owned and operated establishment, and the owners are wonderful people who embody true southern hospitality. Just a heads up, they only accept cash!

Wow! I ordered the holiday ham for Christmas, and it was simply incredible! It warmed up in no time, which allowed me to spend quality time with my family instead of worrying about dinner all day. I must mention that the potato salad was out of this world—I think I ate way more than I should have! It really feels like there's a grandma in the kitchen, pouring love into every bite of that salad. Thank you so much!

"This was a recommended restaurant by Lakeland locals, so we decided to try it out. The interior gave an ambiance of a candlelit dinner and the menu was very appealing to all palettes. We ordered the Jambalaya, Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fires and Coleslaw, Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatoes, She Crab Soup, Cresent City Cobb, Crispy Calamari, and the Chocolate Ganache Cake. Portion sizes we well worth the price and enough to share among two people per plate. The food was well seasoned and very flavorful; we had a great experience and would definitely recommend that you visit when in the Lakeland area! Jambalaya: The Jambalaya was very flavorful with the right balance of salty, spicy, and rich! The portion was more than plentiful and almost takes you back to New Orleans. Blackened Shrimp and Grouper w/ French Fries and Coleslaw: This dish is absolutely delicious and a seafood-lover's dream (although we did expect there to be more shrimp for the price). Chicken Jolie Blonde w/ Smashed Potatos: The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry as restaurants generally make it! The sauce was rich and added a perfect balance to the dish! She Crab Soup: Perfect mixture of sweet and spicy! There was plenty of crab chunks in the soup and the seafood flavors were punchy and fresh; definitely a recommended place to enjoy this Charleston staple! Cresent Cobb Salad: The salad came in a huge portion that we shared among all four members in our party. The vegetables tasted fresh and each element was perfectly made for a delicious salad! Crispy Calamari: The flavor was good and the calamari was crispy; the sauce that came with was delicious as well! Chocolate Ganache Cake: The cake was most, but a little too sweet and not as rich as expected. The vanilla sauce that came with it was to die for, though!"

"The atmosphere is really wonderful, unfortunately that is the only thing going for this place. I have been many times in the past few months. The drinks are inconsistent between bartenders and so is the price. I just visited over the weekend and received the worst service and drinks since I started to frequent this bar. There is never any seating and the bartenders show no concern for time at all. You have to stand in line at either side of the bar to order, so even if you manage to get a seat you may lose it while ordering your drink. On average it takes 20 min to order 1 drink sometimes longer. They service the bar before guests with a table and I have witnessed regulars sitting at the bar all night ordering 4 or 5 drinks for their friends standing behind them. After my last visit I was charged twice on my card I have left phone calls and emailed the establishment without any word back for 24 hours so far. Their one saving grace is the lady that is taking care of the floor. She is on top of cleanliness and always has a smile on her face. I also witnessed a bartender serve a man working at the pizza place across the street a double in a Styrofoam cup which he took back to his shift. He walked right past the line and up to the register and slid the cup behind the bar. Where I watched her serve him I don't even think he paid. my name is not Alexis and I have not been in touch with anyone from your bar so how you came to that conclusion I am not sure. I love how you glossed over the illegal service to the palace pizza employee in a Styrofoam cup it was also not a Friday night that I visited I'm not sure what is going on over there but you should be ashamed or at least concerned about your businesses"
