"Ok so this is a basic American style Chinese restaurant. I wasn’t expecting much but I try all places. This place actually went above and beyond in one area. So I order the pupu platter. Very light for the money. One of the skewers had like a .5 ounce piece of meat on it and the second two pieces. Very bland to say the least. I also ordered the hunan beef. This is where they went above and beyond. I ordered spicy. I have never had a spicy order that yes was hot but no flavor. Thank goodness for soy sauce on this run. The Lo main. Another horrible story. It was like a flat noodle with no flavor. All items were over cooked. I would have had a better experience at Panda Express at least they do have flavor in the food. I have to say one star all around. Will not be going back. Save your money and go to the great places in Austin like din Ho and China town on north Lamar. This place is trash"

I've been looking for good bbq pork fried rice, and GWE has the best pork fried rice in the area by far.

I got General Tso's chicken, and it was very dry and tough. I've only been there 1 time, so maybe it was a bad day.

Because I am looking for Chinese like I grew up on in Bakersfield California, I didn't care for the food. However I have talked with others who love it

The food was hot and delicious. Even though the place was overwhelmed with orders left and right we got plenty of attention and plenty of hot food quick. We love this place. View menu

Waste of $30. Ordered this after a long day at work. It left me very upset. Everything had the same funky aftertaste. Almost like dish soap. Literally everything from noodles and egg rolls to the general tso chicken and eggdrop soup. Save your money. Panda express is better. Update: I am now throwing up

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and let me just say, from that alone not makes me want to try anything else!!! I am a shrimp fried rice girl and I usually base my restaurant off of that, who an mess up shrimp ried rice, if you have good fried rice than I know everything else is amazing, and I end up being right! But today this wasn't it! My fried rice wasn't all the way done, there was still some raw egg in there, the shrimp not only smelled very fishy it taste like it as well, and it wasnt seasoned well, just bland in flavor. I figured a bunch of soy sauce could make it better.... but it didn't! I wish I could get a refund but it isn't uber eats fault... they didn't cook it. I'll take the l...

"For a place called Rock N Roll I have to say I questioned it’s authenticity, but after eating here I have to say this is some legit Indian food.First thing first, when you go to an ethnic restaurant you look to see if anyone of that ethnicity is eating their, and I have to say a majority of the people their were Indian. So while I’m not Indian I trust the authenticity of this restaurant. The food was phenomenal, not a single thing we had was bad, the garlic naan was great, and the onion pakado was perfect for us. The naan wasn’t too greasy but had a perfect amount of grease and garlic flavor, and for those that don’t know onion pakado is essentially Indian onion rings but better and those were perfectly fried as well and came with 2 delicious sauces. The entrees were simply delicious though, my friend who is white ordered the tikka chicken spicy but to our surprise it wasn’t too spicy at all, we don’t know if this was because he was white or not but we could handle the spicy level rather easily. But the chicken was flavorful, juicy and delicious either way. The veg Hakka was filling and tasty and I got it spicy as well and could handle it rather easily myself. I’m definitely not challenging the restaurant to make food spicier but if I had one critique it’s that the spicy level didn’t feel that spicy (although still delicious and we may get the extra spicy next time). Lastly we had the pineapple soufflé and it was the bomb dot com. Everything was great and we will definitely be back. They even had 3 different beers from India to try which we sampled and were satisfied with as well (unanimously Arka was our favorite)Our server Fabi was great and explained to us the menu, was quick and timely with our order and was good overall. Overall this place was amazing and I will be back sometime."
