"I used to love the Avocado Bliss sandwich. I hadn 't visited this restaurant in several years but three months ago, my husband and I went there. I ordered the Avocado Bliss sandwich. I was very disappointed because whereas before, the avocado DOMINATED this sandwich, this time it had very little avocado on it. We visited this restaurant again late yesterday afternoon March 13, 2024 . I had checked the menu online and decided to order Sesame Noodles with Peanut Sauce. I was hesitant to order the Avocado Bliss sandwich again because of its lack of avocado last time. However, they didn 't have the Sesame Noodles with Peanut Sauce on the actual menu. They had a stir fry version of the Sesame Noodles/Peanut Sauce instead. So I decided to try the Avocado Bliss sandwich again. I asked the waitress to emphasize heavy on the avocado when I ordered. When the waitress brought the sandwich to me, she noted that it didn 't seem to have much avocado on it. She took it back to the kitchen. She returned with 1/2 of an avocado not mashed at all next to the sandwich. The sandwich was so loaded with lettuce that it would be easy NOT to notice that it contained NO AVOCADO. This sandwich had NO avocado on it and it was a chore for me to add the large single half piece that was added to the plate. I think it 's very wrong to advertise a sandwich that should be loaded bliss with avocado and then NOT put it on at all, particularly when I requested that it be put on generously. This happened to me TWICE within a three month period. I want to continue going to this restaurant but I 'm not being given what the menu states I 'll be getting."

Because of the messy winter weather and being short staffed Katie had to handle about 10 tables and bar herself! SHE was great! Really good pub food and drinks!

Mediocre food at a high price, always warm beer yuck!!! Occasional fun night with music but you will be paying for it. This is basically what you get when a small town has a customer base of people who don’t leave the town and don’t know what good food is. If this place was in a bigger area it would go under so fast. A great local staple. Went in for lunch and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was quaint and welcoming. All the staff that I interacted with were very friendly. I had the Thai chicken wrap, with avocado and it was delicious and came out in a timely manner. If you're ever in downtown Peterborough I highly recommend you stop in and try it for yourself.

There were plenty of options that could easily be made vegan, though only one item was clearly marked on the menu. The service was slow; they seemed to forget about us and then claimed it was our fault for choosing our own seating, despite being explicitly told to sit wherever we liked. It's an acceptable choice if you're in the area and need something to eat, but not worth a special trip. The terrace is nice, and the beer selection is quite good, including alcohol-free and gluten-free options.
