"No respect for customers whatsoever. And can prices get any higher? Yes they will. It 's insane there. Also as an update 3/16/22- I went in and purchased a pizza and paid for it ahead of time even (almost 16$ .. and asked them to wait 15 minutes before theycooked it/put it in oven as I was going to pick someone up and going to pick it up on my way back through and didn 't want it tobe cold. The owner and the vertically challenged lady both seemed like they understood and agreed with this.. I then call toadd a topping about 4 minutes after I left sorry honey I already put the pizza in. .... I said excuse me? So she repeated itand I said did you not understand when I said to wait 15 mins or so before you put it in? She informed me she did understandbut she wasnt waiting to put the pizza in. So then I called baxk and got the owner and he acted like the request to put thepizza in later was preposterous... And also stated he wasn 't waiting to put the pizza in... So if you want to eat food from aplace that doesn 't respect you or your wishes then this is it."

Not sure why others are complaining . If the owner is there she will absolutely drop everything and help, maybe the negative reviews came when she wasn't there, I've not a problem with food or service since the got rid of a few employees last year.

We walked in and waited to get an order, the owner/cashier wouldn't walk over and take our order while the other lady took a call. We waited longer than we should then decided if he was to good to take the order, our money was better spent somewhereelse. View menu

We entered the restaurant and waited to place our order. However, the owner/cashier didn’t attend to us while another staff member was on the phone. We ended up waiting longer than necessary, which made us feel like our money would be better spent elsewhere.

I'm not sure why some people have complaints. Whenever the owner is present, she makes it a point to drop everything and assist guests. Perhaps the negative reviews were written when she wasn’t around. Since a few employees were let go last year, I haven’t experienced any issues with the food or service.

I loved the friendly atmosphere. I really has down home cooking during the lunch hours. I tried the meatloaf special. It was delicious. Get it at 11:00 PM. I also tried the Heiskell Burgers and the delicious Hunt Brothers pizzas. They are really killer. The Heiskell Burgers are made from 100% Angus beef with no preservatives. I stopped by the post office next door this morning and decided to check out Heiskell Market Deli since I had some time. I picked up a bacon and egg biscuit. The biscuits are homemade and very fresh, though they cost $3 each. Prices here are comparable to a 24-hour convenience store. The interior was clean but showed signs of wear, likely from being in business for 20 to 30 years.
