Everything is absolutely wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there's a vast variety of delicious meat options to enjoy. You definitely need to check out this amazing place! The prices are fantastic—the beef tenderloin is a whole $10 per pound cheaper than at Papa's!

We have been in the area for about a year and a half and are really happy that we finally found Herman's Meat market. They custom cut some delicious beef tenderloins for us. Their pork tenderloins are also very fresh and tender. We are looking forward to trying some other cuts soon. View menu

What a great place! Wonderful meats, wonderful staff and owners! We try to get our meat here exclusively! We bought a food saver specifically for the meats here. It's quality meat. Above and beyond anything you get anywhere else! The advice on how to cook whatever cut you get is so helpful. We are so thankful we found them!

The smell of smoked meat received my attention while driving to Shamrock Blvd in Venice Gardens I came out and what is cooking! Grilled Italian sausage homemade! Huge Hot Dogs and Bratwurst also had them bbq ribs and chicken! Inside they have the best homemade cakes in the city. Based on the NUMEROUS 1star scathing reviewson Hermans I also give it 1 star… was going tovisit the establishment and purchase someprime steaks-NOT going to happen.The owner should read ALL reviews and “make it right” regarding the numerous 1 star reviews and complaints… the customer is always right…Word-of-mouth is crucial to any successful business.I always read the 1 star reviews FIRST-then decideif I shall frequent the prospective business.

My parents just moved to Florida and I am visiting from California. My mother and I went to Herman Meats to get a few steaks to grill and Larry was one of the nicest, most helpful butchers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was able to not only recommend the best meat for grilling, but also gave tips on how to grill them to perfection. Larry obviously knew his meats and how to cook them. We followed his advice and grilled delicious New York strip steaks. Thank you Larry and Herman meats!

Due to personal circumstances we arrived at 4:45 pm to buy dinner. I had checked their website which stated open till 5:00pm. When we arrived the doors were locked but staff were inside. The best I got was a young employee who gave me nothing more than a wave! Even when senior staff left, there was no acknowledgement that I was standing there wondering why they were closed. I’m new to the area an was referred here by many on “Nextdoor”! Sorry, in my world of business for 44 years, “1st impressions are ever lasting”!
