"The discrimination we received at the door was so shocking it's quit funny actually. There is no one outside at the time, not a dog, not a fly no one ! My colleague and I proceed to see if we can get a table to have a quick bite. The waiter comes out with his handy dandy tablet and proceeds to tell us if you eat outside we will need the table for 6:10pm. Which leaves my colleague and I less then 45 minutes to eat. How is that possible ? no one is outside at the time ? I didn't know trying to eat at a restaurant has turned into a game of musical chairs. The tone of the waitress starts to change and he is very condescending and proceeds to tell us there isn't no other options . There was a open reservation that my colleague made right in front of him and he is still giving us less then 45 minutes to eat. I politely tell him thank you and proceed to go to another restaurant. I just came back from one of the biggest NYFW shows and wanted to discuss a business matter. How embarrassing to treat people like this not knowing how well connected myself and colleague was. You would think restaurants would know how to treat potential customers after loosing thousands of dollars during the pandemic. What a disgrace to the neighborhood and city of NYC ."

Tried to eat here for brunch. They sat us down, waited for 5 minutes for a server, no one came, we left.

Had Saturday brunch here with my brother, we had the mushroom omelette and the homemade biscuit sandwich. I thought it was pretty good, but not my favorite View menu

Very good French Toast. Nice bread, fresh red fruit. The only complaint I have is the coffee. Not much option and the coffee was almost burnt. Otherwise the food is fantastic. The service was excellent and the place is very cozy.

If I could give less than one I would… food is not the greatest. The service is much worst and inattentive not to mentioned they don’t really care who they’re serving. Extremely disappointed to come here instead of the other restaurants in the area. The overall rating is overrated in my opinion…. will not be coming back to this place in the future.

Very good food and great value. Had several appetizers including the lobster tail reasonably priced for their size and the watermelon salad. Both excellent. Also had the shrimp tacos simply made but very good. The service was very attentive. It's hard to find a lot of reasonably priced dining options in the West Village but have definitely added this one to my list. View menu

Very nice place in the West Village. When we arrived around 3:40pm, we didn't realize the kitchen would be closing in 20 minutes. They kindly informed us of this, asked if it was ok and promptly accommodated us.Food was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered (1 rare cheese burger and 1 medium rare cheese burger) French fries (Old Bay) we're yummy and not greasy at all. Guac and chips were very good.Would definitely recommend!

Come for the cocktails if you're in the area, but I must admit I was very disappointed by the food : My friend and I were excited to try this place, can't wait it was all that great. It's a pricy Chelsea place, but unfortunately the food was a little stingy for what we though we had. The tacos were underwhelming...coated with a mayo, unripped single slice of avocado and nothing to write home about (or pay the Chelsea price). And my friend got the chicken again, underwhelming and floating in a salty sauce. I'm not one for writing poor reviews, but given the hype and price and they usually have a good brunch, this was not their best dinner.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
