"I moved to Jackson a few years ago, and now every time I come home for a weekend, I'm at least once on Higher Ground. The coffee is delicious, and the owners are fantastic! They roast their beans in Union City and mentally craft mixtures for the community, always keeping customers first in their heads. They serve only the best products and do nothing less. The Baristas treat every customer with the utmost care and provide quality service every time. We need a higher location in the Jackson area — no other coffee shop compares!"

The service is consistently poor. Employees talking to each other and discussing hours and shifts ,,, etc. while customers stand and wait to be helped. I have been here many many times. I like the coffee. I am rarely greeted or feel like employees are focused on customers. View menu

Ordered Cappacino. Got espresso and all foam. I believe the std Cappacino is ~50\50 wet/dry. Frustrating to pay that much money for an espresso, essentially.
