"This was my first visit to Himalayan Hut, and I really enjoyed the food! The restaurant is spacious and never felt crowded. On a busy Saturday night, I noticed many takeout orders being picked up. We tried a Nepalese-style appetizer unfamiliar to us and absolutely loved it—it was delicious and definitely worth trying. The chicken biryani was hot, flavorful, and well-balanced, with a tasty sauce. The tandoori chicken had wonderful flavor and a nice char. Service was good, and our drinks were refilled without any issues. The only downside was at the end when I tried to use a check-in promotion from Yelp (which has since been removed). The server refused to honor it, calling it fake, which made for an awkward ending to our night. I reached out to Yelp afterward, and they informed me that the restaurant was contacted to remove the offer if it wasn’t valid. Still, we felt uncomfortable being subtly accused of trying to scam them."

The restaurant had standard decorations, but the food was excellent. The aromas were wonderful and the portions were large. Thank you.

Lived in St. Louis for half a year and have been missing my go to spot ever since. Prior to covid, I would go every weekend for their buffet which never disappointed. The food is excellent and the service is even better.

The food was absolutely amazing! Our mouths were watering the whole way home. I can't put into words how delicious this truly was, thank you! Had the spicy aloo bodi tama and the mild dal makhani with a side of plain naan

I ordered Himalayan Hut for the first time tonight. I had the chicken momos. They were absolutely delicious. The dough was flexible and al dente. The topping was flavorful and very fresh. The Sauce they were served with reminded me of my time in Kathmandu. I ordered carry out and took it home and the temperature was perfect when I went to eat it. Can’t wait to go back! View menu

We love Indian food! My wife got the coconut chicken, which was good, but very mildly tasty. Probably it wouldn't order again just because we like a little more spice. I have the chicken corma that was excellent! Also ordered the garlic naan bread, which was really more than we could eat. We went on a Saturday at 5 pm and the service was good, waitress was nice, food came on time. Above average price for this type of kitchen. Both dishes were $12.99 and the Naan was $2.95.

The portion sizes at Himalayan Hut were reasonable, but the overall quality, flavor, and presentation did not justify the price. We ordered family-style dishes including goat biryani, lamb curry, and chili chicken. Each dish was overwhelmingly dominated by garam masala, masking other flavors. Additionally, the goat biryani tasted more like lamb, making me question the authenticity. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I left the restaurant feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.
