Jess was our waitress, and she was fantastic! She really made my girlfriend feel special on her birthday. I highly recommend this place!

My friends and I visited the restaurant a week ago. Although it was quiet, the music from the DJ was fantastic. We had a great time! The DJ was truly impressive. Now we're excited to plan our return!

Stopped here for a quick beer with a college pal. They get props for the simple fact that they have a beer to settle any palate. Ales and sours and stouts oh my! Good place to catch a game and have a chat. Have not eaten there in years so, sadly I am unable to rate fairly.

The Nashville chicken dish had very little chicken and instead tasted like a pork rind sandwich. After just one bite, I decided to return it for a refund. On the bright side, the fries were quite good. Even though I wasn't given any reason to come back, I probably won't return. Furthermore, I was promised a refund, but it never appeared on my card, which was disappointing.

First time going to hop cat. Phenomenal service. I got to get my own refill after 20 minutes of being there. We got to see our waiter who's eyes were pegged about 3 times in an hour and a half. There were some sweet decorations of broken glass that ourkids spotted along with our broken water glass. The food was great after an hour of being there, warm at best! Bryan set us up perfectly for our rehearsal dinner upstairs. He communicated with us quickly and guided us along as to what we?d need and what he recommended. We couldn?t have asked for a better experience! Food was fresh, hot and the entire crew (40+people) loved it. Highly recommend the taco bar and crack fries setup. 10/10. Our service was outstanding. We had our ownpersonal bar setup and servers helping our guests. I highly recommend hosting an event upstairs. We?ll be back. We were visiting our daughter and looking for a quick meal when we came across Hopcat after reading some reviews. Being in a college town, we were a bit unsure about the service, but we were pleasantly surprised. Right from the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Even though it was a shift change, the staff ensured we were well taken care of. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were just right. We enjoyed the chicken tacos, mac and cheese with bacon, cosmik fries, and pretzel bites, all of which were delicious. Parking was convenient and only cost us $2 in the attached parking structure. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We hosted a party of about 30 at HopCat last night for my son's MSUCOM graduation. First, I had a nice call ahead of time from Brett, the manager, to confirm the party and our arrival time. The timing was a bit tricky because of the graduation ceremony. Brett really tried to time everything for us so the room/food could be all ready to go right when we arrived. He even left his cell number for me-how many managers would do that?! So impressive!We had the top floor there which is an awesome space if you need a special event room. Everything was PERFECT!
