"I think it's just a part of liking Asian food. You find that restaurant you like, and it becomes YOUR place. You invest yourself in it's well being like a football fan. (so far I haven't seen anyone wearing a jersey for a $1 scoop joint, but it could happen) Just like football fans, right about the time you make that big investment, like the custom painted orange and blue Ford Bronco, your team, your fav quarterback, change cities, and you feel the loss, like your best friend has moved to the furthest tip of South America, without a phone, without wifi. Or maybe it's just me. It seems like every time we find a good restaurant, it closes or changes hands (which messes everything up). Hot Wok is one of those places you'd love to be a fan of for 20-30 years. It occupies a small unassuming space with a few tables to dine in. I've never met anyone working there who wasn't pleasant and prompt in getting your order. And the shopping center it's in is easy to get in and out of, even during rush hour. I'd wear their jersey anytime! (if they had one)"

I have had a lot of Chineese food in the north metro area this is the freshest and best quality at an unbeatable price. I order from here twice a week. Love it

I absolutely love this place! The food is incredibly flavorful, and the staff is always so friendly whenever I place an order. This has become the only Chinese restaurant I want to eat at! View menu

The food was incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, and the customer service was outstanding. I absolutely love this place! I ordered the chicken Singapore noodles, and they were among the best I’ve ever had.

This place is my favorite restaurant place to go to for aromatic, authentic Chinese food. It is my goto comfort food that can cheer someone up after anything. Everyone is very nice here and the food is one of the best in the Princeton area!

Definitely worth the extra dollar! It's not overly expensive, but the quality is outstanding. This is hands down the BEST Chinese food I've had in the area. Absolutely DELICIOUS! The service is excellent too. I can't stress how tasty everything is! I won’t be looking for Chinese food anywhere else! View menu

Sadly, the tray of general tso went to the garbage. There was almost zero chicken inside of very thick breading that acted like a sponge to the grease it was cooked in. Vegetables were a strange mix and I think the larger chunks were durian by the smell which was very unpleasant. VERY little flavor to the sauce, no spice whatsoever.

First time I went here, I had some of the best orange chicken and wontons in recent memory. The rest of the food was only okay, but those 2 dishes really stood out.Second time I went here, every dish ordered had a strange and for lack of a better word musty taste to it. Ended up throwing out the whole $40 order and feeling moderately ill for the next day and a half.I'll give it 2 stars in hopes that it was an isolated incident, but I won't be going back for another try.

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
