"My family from West Virginia vacationed at the Ferry and stopped in for a meal after a day of driving. We ordered the zucchini fingers and the Salmon and penne dish and both were amazing! The staff packaged our food well so we could take it with us on the ferry. Everything was fresh and delicious. We are already planning another trip this summer to explore the town and we will definitely be returning to this restaurant!"

"Ichi Sushi is a charming little gem that truly feels like home from the moment you step inside. This cozy and inviting restaurant offers a warm ambiance, making it perfect for an intimate dining experience or a casual meal. I opted for their bento box, which was simply delightful. The meal came with a perfectly balanced miso soup and a fresh, zesty ginger salad—an incredible deal for just about $20. The bento box itself was generous, filled with a variety of delicious flavors that felt thoughtfully prepared. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a crisp, chilled sake that paired beautifully with the food. What made the experience even more memorable was the service. Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and wore a genuine smile throughout our visit. Her positive energy added an extra touch of warmth to an already lovely experience. If you’re looking for a small, hidden sushi spot with great food and an equally great vibe, Ichi Sushi is a must-visit. Highly recommended!"

"There aren't enough stars to describe the awesome experience my husband and I had here last week for date night. I kept hearing great things so we decided to try it out and it definitely lives up to the hype. The owner Ron is the sweetest person ever. He was so excited to meet his new customers and was so hands on with his staff the entire night. You really never see that anymore. Even when we paid our bill he offered us after dinner drinks on him! It is clear that he cares about each and every customer that comes in as well as his entire staff. They had live music playing. As we all know live music can either add to the experience or ruin it. In this case it was fantastic and only enhanced our awesome meal. The musician sang and played the guitar and knew what he was doing. We sat right next to him and weren't bothered by the volume at all either. We had made prior reservations and even though the place was completely packed they had our table waiting for us and we didn't have to wait at all. The bread is to die for. Clearly home made and served with the most delicious hummus! We ordered the thai calamari to share which was perfectly crisp, the right amount of sauce and so good! The burger was cooked exactly the way we asked and the short rib was perfection! We will for sure be regulars. They earned our business!! At a time where everything seems to be crazy expensive, we felt like we were getting away with something when we got our bill because it was so affordable. Very refreshing experience! They ALSO had a handicapped ramp so it is easily accessible to everyone. (I loved to see that!"

"We took the ferry from Connecticut and decided to skip our usual seafood lunch in favor of pizza. I believe the best way to evaluate a pizzeria is to order the classic cheese, though I also enjoy a half-and-half with pepperoni. The pizza was outstanding! The crust was large, thin yet foldable, with a delicious sauce and fresh mozzarella. The interior of the restaurant was really nice, the server was pleasant, and the service was quick. The only downside was that the pizza got cold pretty quickly, but it was still delicious! I will definitely return and spread the word; this place is a must-visit for anyone looking for pizza while on a trip to Port Jeff! I also noticed that the rest of the menu and specials sounded tempting—maybe I’ll try them next time!"

"The food here is amazing. I actually didn’t get the pasta when I went so I can’t say it’s the best pasta on Long Island. I had the lobster pizza and it was absolutely amazing. They also bring out a huge loaf of garlic bread right out of the oven it’s so fluffy and moist and delicious! Some of the best bread I’ve ever had. All their ingredients are quality and everything tastes really fresh. The place is a bit small and the first time I went it was a Saturday and they kinda rudely said you had to have a reservation on Saturdays but the food by far makes up for it."
