Huku Japanese Bistro

Hello! Everything here is incredibly fresh, and the sushi rice is always perfectly moist. I really enjoy their homemade pickles, and the vegetarian rolls are both delightful and delicious!

The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. My wife and I have definitely decided to make this our go-to sushi spot in Davis. I highly recommend trying the lunch special! Food: 5/5

The sushi here is consistently fresh and incredibly delicious. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Lion King roll, which is baked and served as a block you eat with a spoon. However, if you're in search of great sushi, this is definitely the best place in Davis.

Conveniently located on Mace Blvd, I discovered this hidden gem while returning to the Bay from Sacramento. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and I'm definitely planning to return the next time I'm in the area. I tried the beef udon, sweetheart roll, and garlic edamame. Food: 5/5.

I ALWAYS order the 2 Item Bento (Chicken Teriyaki) and a side of Croquette, no matter if it's lunch or dinnertime. Huku is by far the BEST Japanese restaurant I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot). I won't eat anywhere else now. Their food is always so FRESH, so DELICIOUS, so VIBRANT, and their customer service is AMAZING!! I highly RECOMMEND Huku to everyone, my family, friends and strangers!! Bravo Huku, keep it up! The owners are pretty shady to their staff (IE withhold a high percentage of tips until they feel the servers are well versed to their high standards) so I wouldn't support this sort of establishment. I would know because I was a part of this staff years ago ?. There's so much better and high quality sushi in Sacramento area or in other parts of Davis. I've tried their rolls and it's nothing special. They're a bit over priced for what you get.

Seafood udon was not even close to worth what it costs. I would have paid the price of a top ramen2.50 for this dish. I am angry I paid for a delicious meal and received something sub par. Two shrimp, two undersized scallops, two shreds of imitation crab, and udon noodles..... o can understand our economy is struggling but good godly at least give me less and better quality that a whole bunch of trash . Do t spend your money here. I am all for supporti g your local businesses but this one is dishonest and belly up already .

I used to like this place. But recently there is a waitress (short hair) who is rude. I remembered last time I came myself, she put down my dishes carelessly. And she asked me if I am done when there are still food in my plates. This time I came and they cannot serve dine in, the other waiter explained nicely with me the reason. While we are talking, that waitress came by and talked to me with unpleasant attitude. Even though I still love the food here, I will never come again if this waitress is still here. I really miss the old Huku, servers are polite and always awesome experience dining here. But now…. View menu
