"We had a group of eight, and we pride ourselves on being very polite. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so there weren't many tables to manage. Since orders are placed via a screen, the only time we interacted with the staff was when our dishes were delivered. Our server hurriedly dropped off the food and quickly left, before we even had a chance to ask her anything. She also didn’t clear away the used dishes. At one point, I had to stack six plates and place them on the empty table next to us. Fresh individual plates were never offered, but after asking for them late in the meal, the server brought them without saying a word or smiling. It’s hard to understand what happened to this restaurant, which used to be lively and full of warmth and good vibes."

Brought my parents and older teenage nephew to enjoy lots of little bites. They all loved what I consider one of my regular food haunts.

Funny that it is located next to a place called bad sushi. However our food was delicious! Credit card only. Order and pay on computer at table.

It felt strange to have to order and pay for my meal at the kiosk before sitting down. The restaurant was quite dirty; the table was sticky and had an unpleasant smell.

I've been coming to Sasaya for almost 10 years and it's by far one of my favorite izakaya's in LA. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great little local spot for good food and a cozy environment. View menu

We very much liked ordering and paying for the meal on the computer tablet. The photos on the screen were quite accurate and significantly aided in choosing our selections. The dishes arrived at a comfortable pace. And when we were ready to leave, we simply left. Extremely convenient. We look forward to our next visit.

Food is really good! Truly very good. But since the food-ordering system is automated via the touchpad thing on the table, the service is a bit lax. Surprising for a Japanese restaurant, not the usual “Welcome!” or thank you at the end when you leave. They seemed typically swamped by the take-out orders and seemed robotic just bringing the food to the table. So if you just want to grab some good food without the bother it’s fine but you’d have to use your voice to flag the wait staff down.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
