Jado Sushi - Menu

The food was fantastic but did not come out quickly. We thought it was pretty loud considering its size.

Master sushi,you can see while the chefs prepare the sushi. The food is really good and also the cocktails.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The sushi and sashimi were very good, and the short ribs were excellent. They were almost out of Vodka, but thankfully Heaven was just enough for us on a Tuesday night. The server was friendly, but not very well-informed. View menu

I'm really confused with the negative reviews for Jado. In my eight visits to parties from two to six I have never waited too long for service or disappointed with food. My two negatives (OpenTable reservation system not switched on in time; no brown rice) are overshadowed by many strong positives (lychee martinis, albacore sashimi special, Sushi sashimi Samplers, crab avocado salad, sautéed Japanese mushrooms, all Nakajima... the list goes on). I've never been there when the place was packed, but it's hard to believe a little more stress would break the quality of food and service so drastically.

I'm truly puzzled by the negative reviews for Jado. In my eight+ visits in parties of two to six, I have never waited too long for service, or been disappointed by the food. I am amazed by the negative reviews for Jado. I have visited the restaurant over eight times with groups ranging from two to six people and have never experienced long wait times or been disappointed by the food. While I do have a couple of minor complaints (the OpenTable reservation system not being turned on promptly, and the lack of brown rice), they are outweighed by the numerous positives such as delicious lychee martinis, albacore sashimi specials, sushi sashimi samplers, crab avocado salads, sautéed Japanese mushrooms, and the amazing dishes from Chef Nakajima. I've never checked a restaurant publicly in my whole life, but that was a big disappointment. After a friend's recommendation, two friends came and I came here. Not only did the server last forty minutes to take our order, the food also took an hour to get out, just to get wrong for my order. The quality of the fish was ok, but the rice of my friend was cold for her chirashi (almost felt like they were stuck in the little boys until the other dishes were ready) The delay in our food and services has simply reduced our food experience. We all work in industry and so much we have high standards, we also understand that things go wrong in restaurants. However, this was completely unacceptable....

Based on a recommendation from a friend, two of my friends and I decided to dine here. However, we were met with slow service as it took the server forty minutes to take our order, and then it took an hour for our food to be brought to the table.
