"I occasionally pick up food on my lunch break at this location and have also been to the other Middletown location over the last 20 years since I work in town. Food and service is always top notch. I recently ordered trays of food for a family birthdayparty (chicken Francaise, eggplant parm, salad, pepperoni and cheese bread). They had everything ready on time, prepared foreasy transport and included plates, napkins, and utensils at my request along with bread butter and a generous amount of saladdressing on the side. Prices are fair and the food was excellent! The staff went out of their way to make sure I hadeverything I needed very courteous, efficient and helpful from order to pick up. Definitely recommend!"

"We arrived for our reservations yesterday at The location was very hard to find, it was inside a small shopping mall. When we were seated we ordered our drinks. We had to wait over minutes to even order our appetizers. Once we ordered our appetizer it did not come out until about an hour and a half after ordering which seems ridiculous. Once it hit the two hour mark of us waiting we asked our waiter to cancel our entrees and asked for our check. Our waitress came over and apologized and said they forgot to fire up our meal! Probably the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant. We left around with no meal. Would not recommend this place"

"While this place is a gem, we spent $35 tonight on RICE!! Literally, rice and vegetables. My mother asked for hibachi vegetables rice with shrimp and I for 2 hibachi veggie rice with chicken. Paid for it, brought it home.. Opened the container, no meat. Called and Come to find out, they don't sell chicken AT ALL!! She says she told me but I would not have just ordered $24 of rice and vegetables. The rice is good but I could not eat it, and my son just refused. Wasted money, time and taste buds. Sigh... Going through buyers remorse."

"First time trying Cafe Luna. Hostess and Waitress were very pleasant, food was okay. My husband and son ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs but asked for the vodka sauce instead of the regular sauce. Our waitress did not mention any upcharges for the sauce. When we got our bill, much to our surprise we were charged for Penne alla Vodka. When we asked she said that was the upcharge and both meals are the same cost. The upcharge isn’t the issue but being surprised when you get the bill is. It would be great if there was either a note on the menu or at the time of ordering."

"Although the food and service at this restaurant are usually amazing, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered a Fiore Salad, which was supposed to have avocados, but they were missing from my meal. When I informed the server, she mentioned they were out of avocados but did not communicate this when I placed my order. She did take 10% off the check as compensation, but then gave us the check while we were still eating and did not return to ask if we wanted more bread, another drink, or dessert. I expect a better experience when spending $80 on a meal. Serving may be a difficult job, but if you cannot provide great customer service, perhaps consider a different career. I do not expect a subpar experience at a restaurant of this caliber."
