"I discovered this restaurant in Farmington, and I must say the food is fantastic! If you're a fan of Jamaican cuisine, this is definitely the place to visit. I tried the spicy jerk pork meal, and it was absolutely delicious—tender and bursting with flavor. The service is excellent, making it a great spot to enjoy Caribbean-style dishes. I love this place and wish they had food trucks closer to my home in the Bangor/Ellsworth area; I would eat here often if they did! Kid-friendliness: They also have options for kids, with meals that aren’t overly spicy."

The best Jamaican food in the state! I worked at Nike for 2.5 years and would go their daily for their j chicken dishes. The staff was super friendly, and the food felt like I was back in Jamaica on vacation! 10/10 everytime!

Without a doubt, this is the best pork I've ever had! They participated in the United Way Foodie Fest in Farmington and provided the best service I've encountered from a traveling food truck. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend the BBQ J Pork. 10/10!

The service was great!! but maybe because I’ve had Jamaican cuisine in different places/states this was quite under seasoned. I had the curry chicken, rice and peas, gravy, with cabbage and a beef patty. The beef patty was pretty but the main dish definitely needed more.

It was honestly the best food truck I have had for a while. The chicken was perfectly tender and the mix of spices in the chicken with the rice was delicious. The side of coleslaw with the added hot sauce was a perfect balance. I am not that experienced when it comes to Jamacian food but I can say it was the best I have ever eaten.

I never met Jamaicans with no ambition, how do you pick and choose your hours. That’s inconvenient. Can’t ever find a time they open because “they understaff” it’s sad. Should be ashamed, making Jamaican people look bad.The food is not authentic, I’m a chef definitely not Authentic. They Use Frozen Beef Patties. They don’t make them from scratch… 2/10

"I went recently for breakfast. It was not busy at the time of our arrival. The positives of the experience include that the food was good enough. It was very reminiscent of an average diner breakfast. The server also had a pleasant attitude. The negatives of the visit include that despite the friendly atmosphere, service was slow and basic requests were either late to be fulfilled or not at all. I had asked for artificial sweetener for my coffee right after the first cup was poured and our server brought it with my meal, so I had to wait to drink my now warm coffee while waiting for breakfast. I had four toast slices with my breakfast and it took two to use to eat with my eggs, so I requested a jelly for my final two slices. The jelly never came. While overall that would not have made the visit too bad, what really bothered me was the price. My 2 egg meal is advertised as coming with a meat, home fries/hash browns, and toast for 8.50. Our server asked if I'd like onions in my home fries and I said yes. At the end, looking at the bill, I noticed my breakfast was 8.50 and then the home fries added 2 and the onions added .50. I also never received more than a single cup of coffee, which is a first in all my substantial diner experience. Overall, two of us had two basic breakfasts and two coffees and the total price was 35. That is far too expensive for an average diner breakfast. Overall I give it 3 stars generously, but I would not personally return."

"October 10, 2022 Following Google directions, missed it , had to turn around . . . a typical small college town eating spot, where the locals go for good food! It?s not fancy, but a humble Thai restaurant with plastic utensils paper plates that offer a reasonable selection of authentic Thai food at reasonable prices! We took a chance, and stopped for a quick Sunday meal. As you walk into a ?pizza slice?shaped building on the corner of College Bates College down the street) Sabattus, folks order their food at the front counter. The menu offers a few appetizers like spring rolls, chicken on skewers, dumplings, etc. There?s a couple of soup choices. Then rice noodle selections, followed by a good selection of entrees. We met the owner chef Pat V. She worked 12 years in New York , honing her skills. My wife ordered crispy duck, which was excellent! I ordered the spring rolls, which were vegetarian. . . I was hoping for spring rolls . . . veggies with shrimp, chicken, or pork style ? I also ordered the chicken skewers with brown rice. Very good. Plus the little $5 bottles of wine. . . with a plastic cup. Hey it?s fine! The food wasn?t fancy, but good. This is a solid 4.5 establishment geared for those who want a ? take out? meal , but you can eat in also! Prices reasonable, and the counter service is excellent! Thanks Pat for a splendid Thai dinner !"
