It looks nice for photos. And the flavors are good, the texture is what is off. The waffle cones have a weird texture and flavor.

I tried the Lavender Barberry Vanilla ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. The place is also very Instagram-worthy. It's a must-visit!

Delicious ice cream! On the evening of Friday, June 2nd, 2023, I was at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in Oakbrook Center when my waffle bowl, which had very little ice cream left, accidentally fell off the table. I was tired and a bit clumsy. A young gentleman came to my aid and helped me gather what I could from the ground. I truly appreciate it; I felt so embarrassed and shy. Thank you! It’s heartwarming to know that kind strangers like you are still around.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience. While everyone else was enjoying their samples, I ended up leaving after waiting for far too long. Why should paying customers have to wait 35 minutes in 100-degree heat just for ice cream? It was absurd. To make matters worse, the ice cream scoops were tiny—about the size of a large walnut shell. The restaurant has a clean and bright atmosphere, with outdoor seating available. The staff is friendly, and while there is usually a line, the wait time is generally 10 minutes or less. You can choose from 6 to 8 different flavors, and you're welcome to sample any of them before making your selection. They offer some unique flavors, and you have the option to enjoy them in a waffle cone if you prefer. Additionally, they provide vegan ice cream options as well.

The ice at this place is unlike any other. They offer a variety of delicious flavors that are rich and creamy. However, my only concern is that the prices have skyrocketed over the years, making the cost-to-value ratio quite steep. The staff always seems to be in a hurry, which gives the impression that they just want to rush you out the door. But I suppose the quality of the ice cream justifies the higher prices? Personally, I love the coffee with cream and sugar and the Boston cream. Additionally, the location is perfect for stopping by after a light dinner or some shopping.

I had a bad craving for ice cream, but was too lazy to go and get it myself so I ordered pints for delivery. Unfortunately, the (third party) delivery driver didn’t bother to speak with anyone when getting my order and only grabbed the cones and didn’t deliver my ice cream. After speaking with the shop and trying to find a resolution, I drove out to pick up my missing ice cream. Maureen was so sweet and accommodating about everything. She even gave me some extra treats for the trouble! I will definitely make the trip out to this shop myself next time I’m craving good ice cream! View menu
