"They are usually pretty consistent with the food quality and service. Not out of this world but definitely great to meet up with friends. Parking can be definitely problematic but that's true for any downtown restaurants. I'm not holding that against them. They do seem kind of rushed in service. Like you should already know what you want to order the second you walk in. Also pricing is moderate for what you get so don't expect your dollar to stretch far but it's definitely one of the cheaper options in the area. Atmosphere is a little stale, but if you're going forward casual then it's fine. Overall pretty good. Would definitely recommend for meeting up with friends or dinner for two but not anything more professional or romantic."

We went out for a date night and discovered a charming hidden gem in downtown Santa Rosa. They serve an incredibly delicious Undertow Roll with soft shell crab, and you can tell they really know what they're doing!

We went in for lunch, had a couple appetizers, I ordered the ramen and he had a couple rolls....and they were all real good. The service was good the the restroom was clean. It's a tiny bit dated, but the prices were pretty good. I will definitely be back.

As a previous sushi restaurant owner, I will say this is one of the best sushi restaurants. Everything from the miso soup to teriyaki sauce along with tempuras was done just right. Haven?t tried their sushi or sashimi but highly recommend thisrestaurant for host food! View menu

I ordered miso soup and it was terrible, lacking any flavor. I also tried the 20-piece chef's choice sushi, and it was of very poor quality and presentation. The rolls were overly simplistic and uninteresting. I had the chicken donburi, which didn’t resemble the picture, and it tasted quite raw. I also ordered the chicken katsu, but the sauce that came with it was very disappointing. The chicken katsu was not crispy at all; it was soft and mushy. Overall, it was not worth the $80 I spent, and I couldn’t even finish any of the dishes.

Good food. because the atmosphere is super dated and the menu is standard I do think the price tag of $81 for my daughter and myself was a bit high. We ordered the asparagus wrapped in beef (overpriced for sure) , a dragon roll, Inari, avocado roll, and 4 tiny pieces of hamachi sashimi. One glass of Kunde sauv blanc. After writing that I realize it was pretty good amount of food for the price/ however I would order all of it again but not the asparagus which was $18 and not worth it. Good speedy (if dry) service. Nice hostess. If I had the same meal with no asparagus I would have left happier. Will possibly try again with a Group. Seems better for large groups
