"You can expect great new tastes. Foods with a spin. Music that’s more on the lively side of things. Nice selection of wines and signature cocktails. Seating that allows you to oversee the work that goes into crafting and platting your dish or choose to have a table instead. Fine dine service in a casual setting. Modern aesthetics throughout. From our visit, all the servers and representatives were knowledgeable of each dish, held professional and/or appropriate conversations, interactive and willing to attend to us. Definitely recommend."

Great service, they had a whole team taking care of our table. Food was excellent, steak was prepared perfectly. We were on a Vegas trip for my wife’s birthday, they helped make it a very special night.

from beginning to end, the friendly and attentive employees make the experience personal and unforgettable. the traditional but inventive kitchen are just as well as the papers have praised, with the superlative brotwagen and after-dinner-mignardises is worth saving a little space. the excellent wine list makes the selection process pleasant, and cocktails are excellent made. this is a special excursion destination in the value of the splurge!

The service at this restaurant was excellent and the waitstaff was on point. However, the food was good but not amazing. I was hoping for more flavor in my filet. My husband's lobster was cooked perfectly, but we had to order a whole side of starch and only ate a few fingerling potatoes each. It would be nice if they offered customizable plates for those who prefer lighter meals, as we left the extra potatoes uneaten. The dessert was good and a pleasant surprise for my birthday.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
