For 20 minutes, I watched him switch between touching money and then going back to the dough, which I found really off-putting. Best Birthmark Place in Pelham Parkway. Been eating there Since I was 5 years old. Management is like family to the entire neighborhood. Also a huge plus my Son has been working there last 5 yrs. ??????????????????????????????

This place has always served delicious pizza! My husband and I used to live in the Bronx, and it was our go-to spot, especially during my pregnancy. The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly!

The delivery was extremely slow. I placed an order for a pizza at 12 PM, and it wasn't until 1 PM that I finally received it. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was met with a rude response. I live right across the street, so the delivery shouldn't have been a challenge. Waiting an hour for delivery is unacceptable. Additionally, the pizza was cut into 7 slices instead of the expected 8, and the crust was both raw and dry. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. On a positive note, the garlic knots were delicious!

I used to live in the neighborhood and ordered from here all the time. Now that I've moved to Brooklyn, I can honestly say that no other pizza shop comes close to John Joe's. I returned after a few years, and everything tasted just as I remembered. It almost brought me to tears. The portions, prices, and quality are all exactly as I remembered, if not better. I apologize if the photo isn't the most flattering, but the flavor and deliciousness speak for themselves. Their sauce, cheese, and everything else are truly unparalleled and bring back so many nostalgic memories.
