"The experience was decent, but nothing stood out. The fish and shrimp tacos came with a basic salad and tomato, but the flavors were quite bland and could really benefit from some authentic sauce. The main issue, however, was with the recipe and service. I mentioned multiple times that I’m allergic to salad, yet every taco I received had salad on it! My wife also had issues; she requested flour tortillas instead of corn five times, and when the order arrived, guess what? She got corn tortillas! To top it off, our clothes still smell like burnt oil."

Overpriced for the portions. Super small tacos at big taco prices. The atmosphere was also unfriendly and very uncomfortable. We got that not friendly to non spanish speakers vibe. Food was alright, nothing spectacular. I wouldn't return.

I love going to Johnnie's because it is the best Mexican Restaurant in Bolingbrook. They have always gotten my order right and their food is consistently good. We have eaten there as a family and have also done take out. The fajitas are amazing as well as the tacos. The restaurant is also very clean and has a good amount of seating.
