"Tonight I had the displeasure of dining at Sahm's as I typically give things a pass but I am VERY irritated. I have posted our receipt and picture of the happy hour menu on YOUR WEBSITE and printed restaurant menu. I had been going to the happy hour because me and colleague's have enjoyed going after work. However, they have changed the time for the $3. 33 menu. It is now 2-5. I informed the manager that their website still has the $3.33 menu posted saying 3-6 in hopes they would honor their mistake. No go and it didn't matter because we came specifically for this at 5:00 because I work literally across the stree and MOST PEOPLE WORK TIL 5pmt. I was told that it changed a month ago and that the dinner time started at 6 and it was too much on the staff to start dinner. Okay...since I had asked people to come there to celebrate a birthday, we did not leave. So we ordered the spicy cauliflower appetizer. Because it is not posted in the menu for $10, we did not know the cost as the server suggested it but did not provide the cost. Okay...no problem. What COMPLETELY SHOCKS ME is we paid $7.00 for sides of dressing. YUP.....50+ cent per cup. My husband ordered chicken wings bone in and they were undercooked. Sent back to the kitchen and same thing, still undercooked but NO ONE came to ask if it was better and we were not comped for them either. I have never been to a restaurant where they charge you for a side cup of dressing with wings, salad and appetizer!!! We eat out all the time and I have never experienced this. This typically comes with it. I might add, it is not even listed in the menu that their is a charge for dressing cups, When the side was a $1 upcharge for cauliflower, we assumed dressing came with it because the server asked as if it came with it. When I asked the server about the charge, he felt like he was being dumped on because he only follows the rules. Not his fault. But come on Sahm's, $7 for dressing? No comp for undercooked chicken. I don't know if your establishment is struggling or you are leaning towards an upscale establishment and clientele so you charge per cup of dressing and it not list it in your menu, but that is just ridiculous. You have lost a customer and all of my colleagues that suggest Sahm's Tavern as a meet up will be informed of your price gouging and I would suggest Kroger in their upstairs dining area instead. Because we did eat the other food we ordered but had SEVERAL CUPS of dressing left, we did pay and left a comparable tip for the server though he did not deserve it. However, we will not be back and I will tell others to go elsewhere as well."

"We visited New York City for a long weekend and stayed at Hotel Hugo on Greenwich. In search of a breakfast diner, we turned to TripAdvisor and discovered Amelia's. It's a classic New York City diner, and our meals were fantastic: my wife enjoyed pancakes while I had a western omelet. The coffee was also excellent. However, I do have one complaint: the restroom should be avoided!"

"Hole in the wall or Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Asheville Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Asheville, North Carolina, El Que Pasa stands out as a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean, well-kept interior that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely welcoming the staff were. I was greeted with smiles all around, which immediately made me feel at home. Shortly after being seated, my waitress promptly took my drink order and within moments, I was served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips and salsa. One unique highlight that truly adds value to the experience is their salsa bar . It’s not just your run-of-the-mill selection; this bar featured about eight handcrafted salsas, each with its own unique flavor profile. Whether you’re a fan of mild, tangy salsas or crave a spicy kick, there’s something for everyone. This kind of attention to detail in offering a variety of salsas is a testament to their commitment to providing an authentic Mexican dining experience. For my meal, I ordered the steak fajitas, paired with their house special margarita. The sizzle of the fajitas as they were brought to the table instantly got my taste buds going. The steak was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The accompanying peppers and onions were fresh and added a nice balance to the dish. But what truly impressed me was the authenticity of the flavors. It’s clear that El Que Pasa takes pride in delivering a genuine Mexican dining experience, and they don’t cut corners when it comes to the quality of their ingredients. As for the margarita, it was simply a 10/10. The blend was perfectly balanced – not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tequila and a fresh citrus finish. It complemented my meal perfectly and added to the overall satisfaction of the evening. El Que Pasa offers much more than just a meal; it provides an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Asheville, this restaurant is worth a visit. The combination of friendly service, an expansive salsa bar, and mouth-watering dishes makes it a standout choice for Mexican cuisine in the area. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I’ll be bringing my family along to share in the great food and warm atmosphere. If you’re searching for authentic Mexican flavors in Asheville with a welcoming vibe and top-notch service, El Que Pasa should be at the top of your list. Five stars all the way!"

"I placed a quick order over the phone, but the experience was disappointing. I ordered using the menu linked on their website, and the next day my wife noticed that we were charged more than what the menu indicated. I tried calling them, but they claimed that it wasn't their current menu or that it was an outdated version. We're moving soon, so it doesn't bother us too much, but it's definitely not acceptable."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"I have been a longtime patron of this restaurant! It is convenient for me since I work nearby. Even when 7th Fig closed for renovations, I was still able to enjoy the delicious food from George's food truck. Their Pita and Hummus are my favorite, and they serve the best in town! When the nearby law offices reopened last year, I made sure to visit this restaurant again. The food was just as good as I remembered, and I had one of the best meals of the week here. The chicken shawarma wrap was absolutely amazing - I couldn't decide between that and a salad, but I'm so glad I chose the wrap. It had everything I wanted in it! Make sure to visit this place next time you are at 7th Fig - you won't be disappointed!"

"Absolutely 5 plus stars! The food is fresh and authentically homemade—those fish tacos are delicious! The female chefs do a fantastic job, and the margaritas are amazing. The service is excellent, and since it's family-owned, they really make you feel at home. They even played our musical requests while we enjoyed our time at the charming bar. I will definitely be back!"

"This is a newly discovered jewel. We came many years ago, but it's a bit far from home. After the Mexican restaurants in the highlands were a bit boring, we decided to go back. So glad we did. My brother had Carne asada fajitas. He loved her and said the onion was perfectly cooked and the beef was tasteful and well seasoned. I had Carnitas Tacos. They were pretty good, but a little too much tortilla. They were doubled, but very thick. Good texture and taste and I think they are homemade. The pork roast was delicious and I would try something else with the pork. The atmosphere is bright, clean and the dinning room is large and good with stands and table and chair options, as well as outdoor seats. The service is excellent, server friendly and professional. Both times that we have recently come has been for lunch."

"The front desk did not understand priority seating as they had advertised with Open Table. I had to explain it to the manager. Went there for Mother's Day. Most nicer places had buffets which were too expensive for our group, since we were paying for everyone. My husband and I split the steak, which was delicious. They mixed up one of the orders at the table and they didn't charge us for it. Good business practice."

"Absolutely terrible Valentine’s Day experience! We got seated in the “patio” area on a cool night, people wearing their coats. A plastic tarp was hanging to shield from the outside. Heat lamps were on but one wasn’t working. Tables were crammed up against each other, literally chair to chair. Ambience a minus ten on a scale of 1 to 10. The food was ok, but overpriced. The restaurateur is either clueless or terribly greedy! Definitely not going back."

"Cane here for my father in laws' birthday and this place did not disappoint. Friday nite, party of 6, and staff was able to seat us roughly 15-20 minutes after entering. Alec immediately took our drinks and starters and those showed up in a timely manner. I ordered the shrimp scampi and its pretty good for a chain style sit down restaurant, plenty of flavor and they definitely did not skip out on the shrimp! Give em' a try, you wont be disappointed"

"This is the Best, freshest Mexican food I've eaten in Palo Alto, Peninsula and South Bay. Definitely underrated! I've been to many restaurants and Lulu's is by far the best. After eating this you can feel your body energized with excellent nutrition. I can't believe how many people give poor reviews that have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of food nor the customer service. I been to this place about a dozen times and every time I visit, Always consistent, fresh and delicious. Erica and the crew are always welcoming and friendly. I worked in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and the service is always impeccable. ? I came in today to buy food for my family whom my sister is at Stanford ICU and Erica was truly compassionate about my sister's well being. I wish there was more people like Erica who love what they do and show care for others in the world. I want to express my gratitude to all of the team and Erica for showing love to my family and delivering the quality of food they produce to keep us healthy. I'll be forever customer for now on! Thank you Lulu's for hiring a wonderful friendly staff. They treat you like family and that's the kind of family/business I rather give my money to. Once again Thank you from heart to yours! Stay Blessed"

"Wow! We were stuck in Greenville Memorial Hospital with that awful cafeteria food, suffering, starving, trying to survive, when upon my query, my wife's nurse casually suggested Corona on Augusta. I checked Google maps to see if they delivered, and Whamo! They did! So I did, and that food was increíble! She had Fajita Tejanas and I had Asada con Arroz y Queso. Mega queso. A nice young man delivered. Whew! Food coma. Hope they don't check her blood sugar too soon. Good eats. But they forgot the utensils. No problem. The best thing on that hospital tray was the plastic fork and spoon. Thank you Corona! You are Crowned the King!"

"We recently rediscovered El pobre restaurant for the first time since they closed during the pandemic. We have ate at Papa's and Beer and Los Amigos numerous times since then. Everything was awesome!.. the quesadilla Rica, beef and bean burrito, enchilada, beef taco. .. The grilled chicken is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Unlike Papa's and Beer bland, dry grilled chicken I know good food. I used to have my own restaurant The chips and salsa are the best in comparison to the other two restaurants. The chips are thin and crispy. The cheese sauce is awesome Loved the refried beans. The only shortcoming was the rice was a little on the mushy side. This was probably an exception. Everything else made up for it. The night we went they were short-staffed and we had to order at the counter and our food was brought out on paper plates with plastic utensils. The food and great service made up for it. Thanks Ell Pobre! You're number one! .. again"
