"Great restaurant tucked away in a small strip mall off the beaten path. Has both indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant is small so making a reservation is a good idea. The cocktail menu had interesting Asian influenced variations of classic drinks as well as some signature drinks. The drinks had great presentation and flavor wise did not disappoint. It was odd however that the same drink when order multiple times or by different people was served in different glassware. There were a number of appetizers small plates) to choose from. We had the crispy cauliflower, the Vietnamese salad rolls, and the chicken and shiitake dumplings. The Vietnamese salad rolls were ok… the best part was the peanut sauce that came with them. The cauliflower was very good and reminded me of General Taos chicken. All the small plates had enough for the four of us to try and share. I’d recommend doing this so everyone in your group can try a little bit of everything. The large plates are entree size. I had the lemongrass hanger steak and while it was good, the other dishes that were ordered were better in terms of uniqueness and Asian influenced in flavor. The Jujube bolognese and the Beef Bulgogi were outstanding. Highly recommend. Both are noodle dishes. The Thai larb was also very good. Lighter, and refreshing. Reminded me of a large lettuce wrap with chopped chicken. The service was good. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The chef/owner brought the food to our table."

Incredible place with incredible food. Was in town for a short time and had an incredible dinner. Beef Bulgogi and dumplings were excellent.

Juju has been consistent with the oyster mushroom soup forever. But realistically it has only been there since 2006. So forever may not be accurate.

I have been dining at this restaurant for some time now and I am surprised that it does not have a perfect 5-star rating. The food is absolutely amazing, Jujube truly enhances the dining scene in Chapel Hill. View menu

We always choose Jujube in Chapel Hill for special occasions. The food is consistently delicious and unique, and the service is consistently attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, it seems like the prices have increased significantly, which may limit how often we can dine there.

We had a pleasant evening dining out at this restaurant. They offer a great variety of wine and beer. We tried several of the small plates, with the crispy cauliflower and string beans standing out as the best choices. For our main courses, we enjoyed the hanger steak and salmon, both of which were excellent.

I first tried Jujube in the Triangle and I have continued to love it ever since. The food is always good, the ambiance is lovely, and the service is excellent. I recently brought a friend for a birthday dinner and we had a fantastic time. The staff at the restaurant was warm and attentive, making it a memorable evening. View menu

Wife brought me in for my 30th birthday as it's one of my favorites in the area. Food was incredible as always and came out quick. They have plenty of vegetarian/vegan choices for my wife. The two waitresses (one in training) were excellent and attentive. They even said my wife looks like Lana Del Rey which on its own will keep us coming back.

I really loved the service from Chris. He did an amazing job at advocating for customers. My S/O and I loved the dumplings, hangar steak, duck fried rice, Szechuan beans, beef short rib wontons. My only discrepancy was the curry based on my preference. Chris disputed this charge with the managers. The owner of the restaurant was accommodating as well. They are veteran friendly without broadcasting. I would love to come back again!
