It's not an ordinary sandwich shop. The portions are more than generous and the quality is superior. You can never go wrong with steak and cheese or spin on a Rueben

The people are very nice and are there to work which you have to respect these days. The food is awesome, price is a bit high but you can honestly turn most sandwiches into 2 if you wanted to.

OMG. What a local deli used to be. Large sandwiches, wrapped with hot and cold sides. Wide range of special sandwiches. Hot dishes and snacks. Fair prices and even busy, fast friendly service. I was hard pressed to finish half a big submarine sandwich. A

I have my usual sandwich list, but every once in awhile I broden my horizons. J's is the place to do it. I love their Gobbler, Waist Watcher, Prime Time and of course J's Italian all the way with hot peppers and relish. My new favorite is the Ball Park. It's the next best thing to eating outside of Fenway Park. Don't waste your time with national chains. J's is the place for true sandwich enthusiasts! View menu

Small place with huge flavor! They have an amazing variety of menu options and the food was absolutely perfect. The staff were very kind and patient while I looked over the menu as I was a first timer. They offered selections to choose from since I was indecisive. I would go back everyday if I could afford to eat out that often. The food was fresh and it was delicious. 5 star service, flavor, and experience. Great job!

I've eaten Js deli almost all my life in Cumberland. Now unfortunately only the Smithfield site remains. All their sandwiches are great. I'm giving four stars because I picked up my sandwich last week. Prices rose to $14.03 after tax for a sandwich. Admittedly, they're big, but I can eat the whole thing. Because of the price, I had half for lunch another half for dinner. Besides being expensive, it is a large local deli that always has a northern Rhode Island stack. Thank you for the years of great sandwiches js, please stop the price!

Small and slightly strange location near or practically in a gas station, do not let his humble appearance deceive. These are the same big sandwiches you've been getting at J's for years. If you didn't get a sandwich from J's, you should really give them an attempt to simply be sure to bring your appetite because the sandwiches are HUGE and packed. If you go with someone, and are able to agree on one of the dozens of options they have available, you could probably share one to make 2 servings of meals. For me, I wasn't here for reason.
