"Pancakes were great!  I could barely finish my two, these are large pancakes.  They were also excellent.  My carrot cake pancakes far exceeded my expectations.  I expected a too sweet pancake flavored sort of carrot cakish – which it was not at all.  There were bits of shredded carrots, plump raisins and walnuts – with a nice hint of sweet spices.  They were absolutely perfect. Mr. Grey loved his ultimate pancakes.  You can see the hearty oats, very filling. Coffee was good, was kept refilled. Definitely recommend!  "

The lavashbread was not suitable for burritos. My picture of it is very representative of their burritos.

The food was delicious and the fruit was very fresh! However, they mistakenly gave me scrambled eggs instead of over easy.

A great brunch, every dish is delicious! Saw a handwritten letter in the restaurant to acknowledge the place as the best breakfast in LA , will definitely second that! View menu

This place!! Amazing food. The BEST Chai Latte I have ever had. The staff and people are outstanding. Cannot wait to go back. And they bring water for the pups that join. Cannot wait to go back. No booze... but that is ok. Still coming back.

I really like the place! They have a large breakfast and lunch menu. But I cant seem to order anything but their salads! They are SO good and they have a variety of entrée salads. If you aren't sure what you are craving- come here. They have a little of everything and you wont be disappointed. View menu

My whole family been enjoying the wonderful food at Jumpin Java for over 16 years. Its the place where we feel like "regulars" because we are. We love it. Everything I order is so fresh and so good, ample portions and such great value. I love their berry salad with salmon BBQ Chicken Salad.... everything is terrific and prepared with tremendous skillsnby the owner/head chef, Sonya (sp). Highly recommend.

We have been loyal customers at Jumpin Java for over 16 years. It's the place where we feel like regulars because we are. We absolutely adore this restaurant. It may not be fancy, but the food is fantastic; everything is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the berry salad with salmon and the BBQ chicken salad. Their burgers and sandwiches are also amazing. The main reason why we keep coming back is because of the incredible skills of the owner and chef, Sonya. I cannot recommend this place enough.

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
