"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"I agree that this is a great place for brunch. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I made a reservation 40 minutes before arriving and was seated immediately. Our server, Brooke, was awesome. One of the manager, Carrie, even went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. In fact, I love how the whole staff work together as a team. Kudos to the management team and their awesome staff. For the entrée, I tried the Classic Eggs Benedict, Spinach Goat Cheese Omelette, and Avocado Sandwich. I enjoyed every bite. The Spinach Goat Cheese Omelette, on the other hand, had an interesting taste to them but definitely a nice spin to a omelette. The goat cheese was not my favorite."

"Our server was rude throughout the evening. At first, we thought he was just being humorous and laughed along, but as the night progressed, we found ourselves feeling increasingly upset. He carelessly cleared away our champagne and tea, insisting that we move our champagne to the center of the table because he was uncomfortable with us having it there. When my friend requested a tea refill, he remarked something to the effect of, “Wow, they really despise this alcohol.” This made my friend anxious, and when she inquired if there was any alcohol in the tea, his response was, “That was sweet, and it clearly fell through.” When he returned to replace the tea, he stared at my friend until she finally said, “I’m waiting for you to take that stray and pour it into the new glass.” This behavior made us quite uncomfortable until we asked for boxes for our leftover food. He seemed offended and said, “You’re suddenly full?” I genuinely hope his behavior was meant as playful humor that we simply didn’t understand, but his professionalism with other tables contrasted sharply with his attitude toward us, making it feel personal. As we were likely the youngest couple in the restaurant, we wondered if he noticed this and tried to highlight the age difference. In the end, our bill came to $250, including the 20% tip that was automatically added. We didn’t feel that our experience was worth this amount, and given how we were treated, we would not have tipped the full 20%. We are disappointed that the glowing reviews we had heard were not reflected in our experience."

"We live extremely close and have used the facility for many events, but I have to say after this visit we will no longer suggest or be visiting. AMP 150. The quality and entree offered were far from our expectations. The food quality for what we did ordered was also disappointing. We truly felt it was just standard hotel food a far cry from the farm to table as advertised. The strip steak was served on a wood board with no grooves leaving a disaster of a mess from the drippings of the steak. What were they thinking? The steak was poorly seasoned! All of the meals were not worth the cost charged. They need to step it up big time if they want to keep the business."

"What a fantastic brunch spot! Every meal we had was absolutely delicious. The drinks were refreshing and perfect for getting that brunch buzz going. The atmosphere had a laid-back vibe, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and enjoyable. It's a great place for a girls' brunch, where we could savor delicious food and drinks. I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful time and tasty fare—I will definitely be returning. The manager was incredibly welcoming, and our server was great too. All the drinks were excellent, and you absolutely have to try the biscuits and gravy. Even the pancakes were delicious, and I usually don't eat pancakes like that!"

"When we first looked at the menu, we thought the prices were quite high, but I was willing to overlook that if the food was good. However, when the meals arrived, I knew I would never eat here again. The beer was warm, the drinks were watery and unpleasant, and the chicken wings were the worst I've ever had—old, small, and tough. My friend ordered a churrasco, which was ridiculously small, while my sea bass was disappointing—lackluster in flavor and a tiny portion accompanied by overcooked, paper-thin asparagus. My wife chose a shrimp wrap that was bland and runny. Even the salads were subpar. This restaurant looked inviting from the road, and we made the mistake of trying it out. I definitely do not recommend it; it was a terrible experience."

"Server did not 'have her head in the game ' brought one of us some other table 's drink, and acted like it was our fault, not apologetic at all. And took her sweet time correcting it with the right one. She just seemed like she had been given more tables than she could handle. A different server brought the food, which was all good. This place is conveniently located, although now the infamous sinkhole that ate the bus makes it very hard to park at the Westin anymore, so parking is a problem."

"I just visited this lovely restaurant, Novo Dolce, with a friend today, and I must say it was a great choice for dinner. I ordered the Elizabeth Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was tender and crispy, and the combination of vegetables, orange, bread, and sauce created a wonderful mix of flavors. I also tried the local Blue Stallion wheat beer from Lexington, and it was fantastic! I had never tasted it before, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely have it more often in the future."

"We ordered one sandwich and two bowls of soup. After 1/2 hour of waiting we were given one wrong item, potato salad instead of a soup. Waiter said the cook would “make the soup now”. How do you have it on the menu but not made ahead? Both bowls were barely warm. The potato soup was so heavily seasoned it was inedible. Spoke to manager and they did nothing for us. I told them we were not paying for the one bowl and would never come back. Guess they were too busy getting ready for a big party in back rather than take care of customers. Awful service, mediocre food at best. I still left the inexperienced waiter a 20% tip. Will never go there again. It used to be a great restaurant."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"Seated next to kitchen door due to loud happy hour crowd birthday event. Server had difficulty finding a substitute bottle of wine. Apparently many of their bottles were moved to the new West County location. Great wine list, but it no longer accurately reflects their inventory. Salads were good and two of the entrees were fine, but the prime rib was a poor cut, very chewy and a fair amount of gristle. One of the servers identified that we were celebrating birthdays and brought us ample desserts. Very nice of him. Loud conflict and cursing between some of the staff could be heard coming from the kitchen."

"I was so looking forward to this meal. With COVID-19 it was difficult to find a good take out restaurant. This one fit the bill. I ordered clams and calamari. Also got the lobster mashed potatoes. The fried food was awful. The grease they used hasn't been changed in ages and you can tell. The lobster mashed potatoes were just that. Mashed potatoes filled with all small pieces from the claw. Just thrown in. No mixing and no blending. If we had not been so far when we discover that the fried food was so overcooked it was inedible. I would have returned it immediately. Such a disappointment. A $60 meal that was inedible. Save your money and buy a premade sub from stop and shop."

"The food was enjoyable, but the service left something to be desired. Upon entering, we were greeted with a simple "hi" before waiting over 15 minutes for a waiter to attend to us. We noticed three waitresses, including the one assigned to our table, lingering near the outdoor seating area during this time. Another waitress seemed preoccupied with her phone, while the bartender was left to handle multiple tasks at once. Our appetizer arrived before our drinks, which was slightly frustrating. Although the salad remained fresh, there wasn't enough space on the table for all of the dishes at once. Overall, there is room for improvement in the service department at this restaurant."

"We dine at Dog Lane nearly every week. But this week was most likely out last. The service gets worse with each visit. This morning we ordered a toasted bagel and some toast- an order that shouldn 't have stretched the capabilities of the staff. But after waiting 15 minutes (of which we watched the bagel sit at the top of the toaster for 10 minutes) we went to the front counter to complain. So the bagel came right out, but of course was cold. But no toast, so the staff had to look into it . Really? As if putting two slices of bread into a toaster required investigation. So the toast came out two minutes later- but the latte we ordered was still MIA. That showed up a couple of minutes later If the staff had acknowledge that they messed up it might have been some consolation, but no, maybe we should just feel lucky that they served us at all. Likewise if the place had been full we 'd cut them some slack, but the dining area was only about 25% occupied. Two weeks ago my daughter stopped in and ordered two smoothies to go, again with a dining room that wasn 't very full. Her wait time? 30 minutes. If she hadn 't paid for them up front she would have walked out. I rarely write negative reviews, and understand that any business and their staff can have a bad day. But the trend here is obvious and it isn 't good. We 'll go someplace else where hopefully our business is appreciated. "we met our daughters and their men here since they were in the hotel. I had great hopes, but eating was a break. my salat had so much dressing I couldn't finish it. I wish I had ordered the dressing on the side! my salmon was boiled properly, but the calabic chili cream mais was practically tasteless. the pasta of fruta del mar and sent it back. it was too fishy and it was lacking seasoning. the tenderloin was boiled properly and seasoned well, but at $58 it was not worth it. the personal was attentive and the restaurant itself was tastefully decorated. it's just sad that eating was so disappointing."
