"The place was pretty empty but it took a very long time for anyone to take our order. It is a very limited menu and the server informed us they were out of a few things. After ordering a few items we waited a very long time for our food to come out. Once our food arrived we were disappointed, the squash fritters were undercooked and inedible and the salmon was bland. For the price we paid for our meal we certainly expected better. We will not return to the Laurel."

Atmosphere was great and everyone was very kind, but they were understaffed and it took a long time to get our food place orders.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food, service, and charming old-world Italian atmosphere make you feel like you're in Italy. View menu

The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious, but I would appreciate a bit more variety on the menu. Overall, I had a great experience and I look forward to coming back.

The chicken, octopus and salad dishes weee all outstanding. Beautiful restaurant, we went Sunday evening and had it practically to ourselves. Girgeous hilltop setting Felt like we were in a European cafe. Stellar service from Simo, who treated us like royalty. Will be back!

We had a nice evening being served by Simo. He was attentive but not pushy. The Italian dinner was delicious and seemed freshly prepared. We especially loved the charred octopus appetizer. The menu is creative and especially nice for a hotel. Would definitely dine here again! View menu

The atmosphere is really lovely. This feedback isn't about the staff, as our server and her manager were working diligently to attend to everyone, even though it was just the two of them. I was a bit disappointed by the flavor of the chicken in the chicken and waffles; it was quite bland. However, the coffee was absolutely fantastic! The server and manager provided excellent customer service. The hotel itself is amazing!

It was lovely Christmas Day brunch that we thought was done very well. The room was beautiful and not overwhelming. The food was very good and higher end for the special day. Piano music filtered in from adjacent room playing carols was a nice touch. Plates were cleared promptly. We are not the types looking to eat tons of food but like to try little bites of special foods we may once or twice a year. We were very pleased with our choice for our brunch.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
