"Man o man do I want to rate this place high. I just can't though. I'll start with the good, just as everybody else says, awesome motif and a great idea. The cars and parts are a great background and the music was good. I did like the beer as well... but.It was just odd. I would put this off as we were greeted unexpectedly with the owner and staff demanding a mask... this threw me off a bit as we just can't from Texas, but I understand that they need to comply with state proclamations and they absolutely have the right on their own to require this. I could also take it as it was the bartenders first day, and it was evident that she was still learning (she did great by the way). But I just found the entire experience odd... we were forced to order before sitting down 15 feet away, I can assume this was due to the only menu being a white board below the server counter, but it was out of date and they were put off items listed. When we ordered I was asked what chips you want, but wasn't given any options. As we sat down at the bar, I personally didn't feel comfortable at all on the bar stools, and noticed the original tailgate tables, a nice touch but I found it super odd that they were the outside of the tailgates which are typically rounded. It made sense when thinking about the engineering. It's easier to make the tables with mounts that are flat, but that just looked up make it more difficult to hold food and drinks. We ordered simple BBQ fare and it took longer than expected to get it.The final bit was when we wanted to pay up, we were asked again to go to the front 15 minutes away to pay instead of paying at the bar. I just found it odd.I can go on, but don't want this to be negative. These are just meant to be constructive criticisms. This place is very original and along route 66 I can absolutely see the charm. It just seemed to fall short for me. Maybe a second chance sometime will make the experience better."

A unique Harvest Host experience. It's a junkyard. There is a brewery with delicious bbq and beer. Everyone staying over enjoyed each other's company. Highly recommend.

it looks....interested....from the road, but the people are fantastic and the beer is great. highly recommended. very cool that they allow truckers and rvers to have a beer or two and then spend the night in the garden. did I mention that the beer was great?

Great experience and atmosphere overall . By far the best stout I ever had,and I 'm a beer snob! Meat was delecious, complaints I have are neglible and the live music was the cherry on top. A must have if you are passing through or spend the night in the area. Thank you guys! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We showed up and have a great visit with the person at the bar who gave us the history and offered a tour along with the brews and some food. The brews were good. I suggest you stop by and try it out . Having been raised in an era where the smell of grease was part of my biome, this smell of 50 years of shop use was a sweet background. View menu

Great place for any group traveling. Especially great for bikers or biker groups. Pool tables, fuzzball, and super cool atmosphere. The owner was nice enough to call a place down the road for us so my wife could have a vegetarian option. I had the brisket sandwich (fantastic). Tried 2 different beers. Both great. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Brisket

So glad we found this little gem on Route 66! We were hot, tired and hungry and Crystal and the Junkyard took care of it all! We got there just as they were opening so thought we might have to wait a bit but we were greeted with a smile right away and offered food and brews! The beer was ice cold and the BBQ was amazing! I had the pulled pork and hubby had the brisket. Both had BBQ sauce on them which hubby doesn't normally care for but it's not a heavy sauce, not too sweet and definitely didn't hide the flavor of either of the meats. The sandwiches were piled high and served piping hot with nice soft buns. The decor is super fun with car hoods for the tables and plenty of junkyard to take i...
