"Moscow 57 has everything you could ask for: a lively and welcoming atmosphere filled with a diverse mix of people, from older European expats to young LES hipsters and artists of all kinds, along with couples enjoying a romantic evening and groups of friends having a great time. The restaurant has a stylish yet relaxed vibe, reminiscent of an artistic salon from a bygone era, and features fantastic live musical performances. Owners Ellen and Seth are wonderful hosts, and the food is top-notch. While many places with live music often compromise on the quality of their dishes, Moscow 57 does not follow suit; their extensive menu offers nearly flawless options. This may not be the spot for a quiet evening, but it's sure to be a fun and memorable experience."

Great little bar/restaurant with live music. Great cocktails and food. Must try ice cream with alcohol on top!

The live music and fun atmosphere was awesome. The food was ok but great for appetizers and a night of great atmosphere.

We celebrated a rehearsal dinner with out of town guests. Our table was ready, our guests of honor were given a cake, the owner came over and greeted us individually. It was a terrific, fun filled/vodka filled evening.

Five of us got together and when I got there two in our party were already there sampling the vodka. Everyone was extremely friendly, the food was great (definitely have the shrimp. The bank was fun if not eclectic. I would go back there again for sure.

This was the perfect place for a group of 8 friends getting together for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. The vibe inside is a chill relaxed environment and our server, Judith, was a pro. She recommended good dishes and drinks and took great care of us all night. Menu is mostly small plates combining recipes from Russia, Eastern Europe and Asia, but everything we tasted was excellent. Surprised that such a small restaurant could have it all: excellent authentic Russian food (don't miss the blinis or the baby dumplings or the pressed chicken), homemade cakes (and try the pudding), and interesting infused vodkas and mixed cocktails (try the refreshing cucumber vodka and soda) all served by friendly staff who make you feel like part of the family. And there's lovely live music that doesn't make you shout or burst your eardrums. We'll be back soon!

I originally come for the food, but end up staying for the music. Actually, I come for the music and end up staying for the food! That's why Moscow 57 is so fantastic. They have it all! Not only that, but they treat everyone with such attention and make everyone feel special. It's a great time at this place. They also seem to have a knack for knowing exactly what music to play - when I brought two friends there for the first time, the band somehow played their favorite songs. Who would have thought you could listen to Samba at a place called Moscow 57? And, it was top-notch Samba according to my friend. I absolutely love this place!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
