Kento Hibachi Express

Another amazing meal from Kento! The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor. The vegetables were crisp and perfectly seasoned. The rolls were fantastic too! Thank you!

The food is incredibly fresh and the prices are fantastic. This is my third time ordering from them, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best restaurants in Lebanon!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious, and I really enjoy the downtown location. My favorites are the steak and shrimp. They also offer Boba, which is quite rare in this town! I highly recommend it. Plus, they provide delivery options as well. View menu

Delicious! Wonderful food, excellent service, and a fantastic owner. When we first moved to town, we came here and ended up walking right back out, as it didn't look inviting at all. However, after the new owner took over, we decided to give it another shot, and I'm so glad we did. It was amazing!

The food was tasty, but the service left much to be desired. We waited nearly an hour for two takeout plates, and by the time we received them, the food was cold. While we waited, I saw other customers coming in, placing their orders (some for dining in and some for takeout), and receiving their food before us. The portions were small for the price, and I found the rice inedible due to the excessive saltiness from the ingredients mixed in. Overall, I was not impressed.

We've had a few minor kitchen mishaps in the past, but Rick and his team have always gone above and beyond to make things right and ensure we enjoy a wonderful meal. At the end of our visits, we usually leave not only with satisfied appetites but also having shared a good laugh in the lobby. The name might imply that this is a Japanese restaurant, but the food definitely does not align with that expectation. The rice was mushy and had the consistency of thick porridge, making it completely inedible. However, the other flavors were enjoyable. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but still tasty. The soba noodles were delightfully chewy, though a bit on the salty side. The teriyaki chicken had a nice char, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection as well. I'll give them credit for using fresh ingredients, providing plenty of sauce, and persevering without air conditioning for far too long.

Not often do you go into a business and see the owner actually working as if he were just an employee. Not often do you have an owner come shake your hand to welcome you in when you go to dine in with your family! From there, we knew we were going to have an amazing experience and that is exactly what we had! From the steak to the chicken to the rice, were most definitely a 10/10 not to mention my daughter stated that the shrimp was the best she had ever had! Definitely a place we will be visiting again! Thank you for having such an amazing place to go eat a wonderful meal, with such amazing staff and owner! And the decor was a huge plus as well ?

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The new ownership is fantastic (not that there was anything wrong with the previous one)! They collaborate with local vendors, which is incredible, and they create such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive—special shoutout to Sadie for suggesting the spicy version of my dish (it was amazing) and for being so sweet to my child. The portion sizes are generous for the price, easily providing 1.5 to 2 meals per plate. The flavors are outstanding.
