"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"Some of our favorite menu items include the walnut sauce, black pepper fillet with mushrooms, and shrimp with lobster sauce. When my friends and I want to indulge, we often order a bit too much and add Chow Fun as an extra dish! For appetizers, I typically go for the hot and sour soup, while my friends enjoy the egg drop soup. We also love the house shumai, spare ribs, and chicken salad rolls, not to mention the Lychee Martinis! The truffle fillet is another excellent dinner choice we've tried. We always say we’ll branch out and try new dishes, but we love our go-to favorites so much that we seldom do! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fantastic Chinese dining experience with delicious food! You won’t be disappointed!"

"THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF DELIS. I wish that was an exaggeration, but I am NYC born and Queens-bred, so judging delis and bodegas is in my blood. Sabeli is 12/10 in every single category, every time I have ordered. I needed to write a review this time because on this occasion, I asked Ms. Michelle to re-create a sandwich I love from a restaurant in the city. She absolutely nailed it- it required caramelized onions which they do not have ready but they took the time to do it for me during their busiest hour of the day (1 pm lunch) and it's those little things that keep us going during our crazy days. Sabeli treats their customers like family, the quality of the food is unbelievable; perfect and fresh to order every time. The service is as fast as possible without compromising on courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. And for those who may be skeptical about the price, I assure you that given the sky-rocketing costs of everything their prices are still extremely competitive and reasonable and barely reflects the incredible quality of the food you get. Sabeli is worth every dollar and visit. Love this place!"

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."
