"Great sauce selections good flavor questionable tacos, chicken tinga was plain chicken with the onions and cilantro with out the tinga sauce. If your Hispanic you know what chicken tinga is or at least the sauce… tortillas questionable where is the oil, the grease, the flavor of the meat on those tortillas, overall I would say Tex Mex but definitely not street tacos. Not bad but slightly improve on the flavor of the meats and tortillas"

We love Killer's. Our family visits Denton 1-2 times per year and we always make sure to stop by for lunch or dinner. A hidden gem in a residential neighborhood!

Best punk venue! The servers were incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. It's such a great place to be able to sell your goods. Vegetarian options are available, and they are very accommodating with dietary restrictions.

THE VEGAN ELOTE AHHH!!! I’m obsessed! Their tacos are so unique and have the quirkiest names haha! They have some open mic nights which is such a nice way to make Denton feel like a vibrant community. The workers are so chill and legit. My boyfriend and I went here on a Whim and fell in love! Will definitely be back. ESPECIALLY for the Vegan Elote! View menu

This is definitely my favorite little taco shop in Denton. I make it a point to visit at least once a week. The food is delicious, simple, and quick. Killer's often features live music several times a week, which adds to the atmosphere. As of now, they also have a fantastic deal on Taco Mondays: buy 2 tacos and get 1 free. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu!

I recently visited for Legalize Fest and I loved the experience! Firstly, they have a great selection of tacos. The street tacos are my favorite, especially the barbacoa! Despite having a super full house, they got our food out super quick. Plus they havea few different music stages. It?s inside of a house so it has an interesting atmosphere. Overall I really liked it and plan togo back!

Even though it was packed, our food arrived surprisingly fast. They also have multiple music stages, and the venue being inside a house adds a unique charm to the atmosphere. I recently attended Legalize Fest and had a fantastic experience! First of all, they offer a diverse selection of tacos, with the street tacos being my favorite—especially the Barbacoa! Despite the venue being quite crowded, our food arrived quickly. The festival also features several musical stages, creating an engaging atmosphere in the house setting. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I’m planning to return!

"I had a great time with my friend at Komodo Loco. The interior felt like something you might see in Austin or Colorado moody lighting with cool artwork. First things first, I was hoping that we would sit in the front area of the restaurant where things were happening but we were sat in a back room down tue hallway which you couldn't even tell existed. It was super dark and not as appealing as the front of store which was a bummer. I could've said something but it ended up okay in the end. Our waitress was good about checking up on us so we appreciated that. Let's talk about food and drink. For the cocktail, I got the berry drink at first which was gin and blackberries and blueberries I believe. I wasn't a huge fan, but I was able to switch it out with the Japanese whiskey drink which was a whole lot better 6.5/10 The food was overall delicious. I got the slammin sake roll which was me and my friends favorite a spicy salmon roll that had just the right amount of kick to it 9/10 I also got sashimi with mango it was not bad; fresh but definitely not as tasty, complex or worth it to me compared to the previous roll 6/10 Finally I got the tuna maki since I was still hungry. It was probably the worst roll of the bunch. It was the cheapest and the seaweed was chewy and hard to bite through. My friend got a specialty featured roll that had mango in it (I forget the name) but it was delish. 7.5/10. The kicker to all this was that I asked for sauces and was not told ahead of time that I would be charged for it. Again I didn't say anything at the time because it was only 25 cents per sauce but just the fact that I was told beforehand was not great. They should tell guests if something is extra I've never been charged for extra sauce on the side at any other restaurant ever. Overall a good experience with a few tweaks this could be 5 stars for me maybe I would give it another try in the future"
