"March 2022 review the Place is very nice, this was only lunch i have to say for a michelin 1 star i felt rushed ... food was coming way too fast, escargot was a little cold but maybe that was what they wanted , steak frites was excellent and their bread and butter superb desert nice but nothing i could not have gotten at the bakery downstairs the app for their menu was wonky (no prices so we had to get a paper menu overall this is a solid place Michelin ?? not so much based on lunch i am hard pressed to pay the prices they want for dinner on a weekend but maybe will try again for a dinner during the week"

The menu was subpar and very limited for all the hype. No real sophistication to the food. Funniest part was the charge for old crusty bread. One would hope if they are going to charge you for bread, it would be amazing. Cheesecake Factory bread is better View menu

we visited the nowruz tasting menu dinner. he had read back in the la times for years when he took place in the restaurant of the owners in la to celebrate the Persian New Year. a word: spectacular! from the dramatic opening course of kaviar and akoutrements (served with champagne) to the conclusion of mignardise (saffron mini-macaron among them) it was an amazing culinary experience. oc is happy to have this caliber of kitchen and know-how, but it is worth the ride from everywhere.

I seldom write a review as I am to critical of dining out in the OC I am well traveled and a good cook. This restaurant is so overated for the food experience that it is supposed to be a much acclaimed dining experience, I can't believe people pay the price for food that is bland and overpriced. Everything I ordered as well as my husband had little flavor and it all tasted the same from the rabbit starter to my lamb chops to his duck was so under whelming in flavor never again for this over priced over hyped restaurant they would never make it in France
