"Since being a chef, I'm able to seperate my own likings from the over taste of a product. This place gets 5 stars all the way around.Very kind service, clean, upkept and sanitary. Very cute decor. Tvs for a bit more entertainment. I ordered a ramen Kongdog with fries. The meal was flavorful and perfectly executed! Ramen was crunchy, the cheese had a nice pull, and the lower all beef hotdogs was flavorful and not bland, asive tried other establishments. The fries were fresh cooked. There's also music playing. The place simply was not my preference of food, I tried it, it was made perfectly, but I won't be back. This doesn't take away from the product though. Maybe I just don't like corn dogs. I tried something new anyways and am glad!!!! Most try, a place to sit, talk and lax!Kid-friendliness: Corndogs and fries, what more can a child be happy with?"

Quaint little spot offering a variety of corn dog choices. It's great that they also have a vegetarian option!

They don't have a working restroom. Has to be a health violation right? I was so excited to come in to this place because the place I was going was closed down and bad service and no facilities kind of ruined it.

I sampled the sweet potato and churro with sugar. The addition of ketchup and mustard really creates the perfect balance you’d expect from a corn dog. I also tried the Ginger Ice Tea, which was fantastic—definitely a 10/10 just for that!

Kong Dog offers a distinctive and innovative twist on the classic hot dog. We tried the half-and-half dog featuring Cheetos and potatoes, and both toppings were fresh and flavorful, with an amazing cheese pull from the cheese. It's definitely more of a specialty spot rather than a place for a quick, ordinary meal. View menu

Yes. Yes. Everything yes. I am not necessarily a huge corn dog fan so I was hesitant but we went with a group who had been before. My husband got a 1/2 hotdog 1/2 cheese stick inside of a standard corn dog. He LOVED IT. One of our friends had cheese stick inside of a fruity pebbles-wrapped corn dog. One had a churro dusted corn dog. One had a Flamin Hot Cheetos dipped cheese stick. As for me, I ordered a fried potato coated cheese stick. It was heaven. The potatoes were tiny little cubes and perfect. The cheese stick melted to perfection. We will make a point to stop when we are in Chicago again. Ps. Don't go here if you're counting calories or cholesterol- but for a treat, it's a must do in...

"Parking goes all the way around three sides of the restaurant. And this is truly needed, because of the large square footage inside the restaurant. The parking lot was full on a Wednesday night! When I walked in, there was a bar area immediately to the right for you to grab your first cocktail, but I have never had to wait for a table. They have an equally sized outdoor patio as they have available seating area inside. If you sit on the patio where you're not staring at the parking lot, you will be fully transformed into a little Mediterranean vacation with twinkle lights above the pergola and vines on the wall. The place was fully packed outside with many people sipping on Lemontinis. First, we got the Spanakopita, which was basically a savory baklava but with diced feta and spinach inside with tomato sauce to accompany it. The Skewers were fabulous to split with a pal, as they come with a large portion of protein kebabs with rice, tomato onion, Taziki, and two slices of pita. The chicken was so tender and could convert anyone who doesn't like chicken to like chicken. These Plateia chefs are absolutely using a thermometer to cook, because nothing has been overdone, ever. Little loud at times for my 32-year-old ears to hear, but it was because of the bustling environment with people all around chatting and and having a grand old time. How could you blame them?"
