"We’ve loved this place for years! However, after not visiting for a couple of years, we were shocked by how much it has changed. I ordered a croissant sandwich with turkey and gouda, but they only included one very thin slice of turkey, while the gouda was in large chunks. The croissant was also rock hard. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed when I declined the Swiss cheese they offered, and I remember it used to come with mustard. I had to ask for mustard from an employee who spoke no English. Most of the staff we tried to communicate with didn’t understand English either, making the whole experience frustrating. We noticed that the employees seemed irritable with everyone. Given the decline in food quality and the language barrier that made it uncomfortable to ask for even simple things, we won’t be returning. It’s such a shame."

What is this terrible excuse for a croissant? The staff were friendly, and the views of downtown were lovely, but the pastry itself was disappointing. View menu

I have tried all 3 la baguettes in town now and this one held up to the standard! The food is top tier and it is such a cute and fun place to dine in Old Colorado City. I will definitely return to this location! I like all 3 in different aspects.

Never had French Onion soup before. 8$ for the most amazing soup I’ve ever had here in the springs. Bread is simply amazing, and 13$ for the best tortellini I’ve tasted too. Very light, full of flavor, filling, and inexpensive. Very much worth trying!!

First time eating lunch with friends at La Baguette. The ham and red pepper quiche was quite tasty along with the Spring salad and homemade bread. I got a chocolate eclair to go to take to my husband. He let me have one bite and I regret not eating it myself because it was truly to die for!! View menu

The bread was so hard I could use it as a basketball against Shaquille O'Neal. The quiche had me running to the bathroom like Marcus Copeland. Referring to it as a fruit board is an insult—let's not even go there. The layout was confusing, and the customer service was uncomfortable. On the bright side, the water was refreshing!

We had a really unfortunate meal here. The chocolate croissant was nothing like a French croissant, incredibly dense, hard and overly greasy with way too much chocolate. It was bad enough that we threw it out after two bites.. Costco croissants are even better. The baguette sandwiches we got were mediocre, dry, and had not enough filling. The baguettes are also straight out of Safeway or Costco.. nothing like an actual baguette. Not only did it not taste good, but we left with stomach aches. So sad! This place used to be really good.
