"If you're looking for the best Pakistani HALAL food, look no further than The Superior Vena Cava located on Coney Island Ave. This is a must-visit spot—missing it means missing out on a true taste of Pakistan. I've been here many times, and each visit has been so enjoyable that I end up ordering double: one meal to enjoy there and another to take home. The staff are more like family than just employees; they genuinely represent the warmth of Pakistani hospitality. The flavors in the food will transport you straight back home. If you're craving that authentic experience but can’t make it to Pakistan, skip the trip and head to Lahori Chilli. Now, I know that every place has its imperfections, but if I had to point out just one flaw with this restaurant, it would be its name. If it were up to me, I would call it "Pakistani Chilli." It could very well be one of the best places I've had the pleasure of visiting in the West, period. Give it a try if you don’t believe me! Thank you for reading, and please remember to like this review. —Mr. Khan."

The haleem, nihari, naan, chickpeas, and puri were all absolutely delicious!

The butter chicken lacked creaminess; there was more rice than sauce, which was disappointing. I kept discovering spices in my rice, including a large cinnamon stick, and that was not a pleasant surprise. While the flavor was enjoyable, I wished the dish had been better prepared. View menu

This is one of those small, unassuming places that serves incredibly delicious food. We went there for the first time last night and were truly impressed. I highly recommend it! We tried the chapli kabab, samosas, goat pulao, lamb curry, keema aloo, and keema and aloo naan, and everything was fantastic! I just couldn’t stop eating until it was all gone.

We order from here often. The chicken over rice is usually delicious and satisfying. But I think perhaps it may depend on who is cooking because it can be inconsistent and every now and then I receive the same exact order which is not good at all and lacks flavor. Love the garlic naan, although can be more garlicky at times. A decent go to place for cravings.

Edit: had to lower my review by 2 stars. One of the employee’s tried charging me double what he was charging Indian/pakistani customers. I asked him about this and then he lowered it to $2 more for the exact same dish and size. Hidden gem hole in the wall place. Food is absolutely amazing, good portion sizes, and a good price. The reviews speak for themselves. View menu

Authentic Pakistani food. Wide variety on the menu: the faves Nihari (spicy beef wheat curry) must be eaten with naan as should really all the food) Qeema with potatoes (spicy ground chicken with potatoes this is not in a curry can be eaten with rice or naan) Biryani (chicken) The food delivery service even delivered to me! (5 miles away don’t worry I tipped accordingly) Anyway if you want to try some real Pakistani cuisine give this a try

We had an exquisite culinary experience with the finest, mouthwatering Pakistani cuisine a true testament to authenticity and freshness. At this remarkable eatery, the staff goes above and beyond, showering you with their utmost courtesy and warmth. Brace yourself for a feast, as the generous portions leave you fully satisfied. What sets this place apart is the personal touch of the owner Mr. Feroz, who goes the extra mile to ensure each customer feels cherished and pampered. We have an unforgettable dining experience at this place

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
