"The restaurant was quite empty, and I noticed Christmas decorations still displayed in April, along with numerous cameras monitoring every corner, bite, drink, and conversation in the dining area. Unfortunately, the almond chicken was overcooked to the point where the outer edge was inedible. On a positive note, the cheese crab, or crab Rangoon, was the best I've ever tasted. However, the fried rice was disappointing; it lacked flavor, color, and was nothing but dry, unseasoned brown rice, which is usually a standout at Chinese restaurants. Our server was excellent, though the dishes arrived a bit too quickly. Having worked in several restaurants, both casual and upscale, I was disappointed by the presentation of my dish, as there were no clean edges on my plate and gravy had spilled over into its separate bowl."

When we went here for dinner during a football game all of the seated diners were Asian so that may indicate the authenticity of the food.

If you love Chinese food, Lai Lai is the place to go. While the decor may be reminiscent of the '80s, the service is fantastic and friendly. The food is incredible and perfectly prepared.

Nice music. Quiet this Friday, May 25 noon, Memorial Day weekend and presentation, food GREAT! Eggplant dish, nice, tender and great sweet, soy flavor. Honey glazed almond shrimp just right amount of tang, chew and flavor. Nice calm relaxing experience.

A restaurant that serves both 'americanized ' and authentic Chinese dishes. They offered a broad choices of authentic Chinese dishes. A good quick fix for your Guangdong food cravings. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. They make one of the best stewed beef around. Staffs are very attentive and polite.
