"When it was time to order, I found myself facing a tough decision. The menu prices ranged from $16 to $30, which was a bit higher than I expected but still reasonable considering the offerings. I chose the salmon with herb cream cheese bruschetta, omitting the bread since I'm gluten-free. My dining companion ordered a homemade chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad. The portion sizes completely justified the prices. My dish included four thin slices of salmon rolled with cream cheese (the server mentioned the kitchen had fun preparing it) on a bed of crushed Romaine, along with homemade pickles, pickled red onion, sliced hard-boiled egg, crushed goat cheese, and capers. The plate was also garnished with a slice of orange and watermelon. My companion’s chicken salad was generous, served on thick, toasted bread, and accompanied by fruit and pickles.
We both found the pickles to be delicious, though a bit on the spicy side. Although we were tempted by dessert, we decided to take half of our meals home and forego dessert. The dessert options included lemon cake with mascarpone filling, flourless chocolate cake, and crème brûlée."
