We were a party of two and the tables were very close together so that we could hear everything the people at the next table were talking about. The service was below the quality of the food. We were seated and never given the menu. Had to ask for it. Maybe it was just our table because I noticed other tables were getting better service. Overall the experience was very good and my husbands lamb was excellent."

It was a Valentine s Day celebration and we had heard about the Restaurant from friends who raved about it. We were quite disappointed. The ambiance was sombre and insipid. The food was heavy on thick sauces and thin on taste. The service was attentive and unpretentious. The dessert a tarte tatin) was served very cold. The lamb was insipid and the accompanying vegetables were tasteless. Much ado about an old fashioned restaurant that has an undeserved reputation.
