"We really enjoy our visit at Les Deux Gamins.Classic french food in a beautiful hidden pedestrian in the city center. We just had to walk 5 min to reach the metro. Btw, the parc between the restaurant and the metro is lovely (thanks Ben).We had a nice beef tartare to start with a French onion soup. Then we tried the famous duck and the chicken. Both were very good. Service was nice and the waiter helped us nicely to select a nice bottle for less than 45$. Try the crème brulee for dessert, you will not regret it !!!!!We will go back!!"

The French connection and panna cotta were exceptional, as was our waiter, Ben. Merci, les deux gamins.

A very authentic experience in Montreal. The food was very good; the service is as harried as we have come to expect in the post-pandemic world. It seems they are understaffed, but so does almost every other place.

The food was decent. Portioons were "ok". The food didn't blow me away, especially the main courses of steak, osso buco, and chicken. Overall it was just "ok" but the cost of four people was over $150. The service was pretty good overall. View menu

Situated on a car free street we arrived early and managed to get a table for two.Good quality wines available to compliment some splendid food.Service can be a little patchy, we visited twice, but with a glass of wine and time on our hand this was no problem

Reservation process is terrible. We came early requested a table in the mezzanine and were told no even though there was empty tables. Menu is inconsistent with their website and the menu posted outside. Half on the items are missing. The service was excellent though.

It was freezing inside the restaurant. For the amount of money per dish I figured they could at least turn on the fire place. The food was delicious but couldn't enjoy it because it was cold or lukewarm within mins of arriving to the table that's how cold it was in there. The place does not look as advertised. Will not be back View menu

We came here after checking local eateries on Trip Advisor and we were frankly blown away. Possibly because I have lived in France and it had a typical French Bistrot menu (not surprising as it's run by a Frenchman). Our waiter (Axel) was friendly and helpful and when we asked advice on a wine he admitted it was a new wine he wasn't familiar with so called on the boss to give us more info.We had foie gras

What a great location and area this restaurant is situated at.I think this restaurant can use new chefs to improve the quality of meals for the price we've paid. When I've looked at the open area of the kitchen I saw busy chefs but... busy with their iPhones in parallel to cooking. As a result of multitasks- not tasty meals which we've left unfinished. Our salads were overdosed with vinegar, tagliatelle were very badly prepared. Bread was good though and service was nice.I would never eat at this restaurant again.
