"Nice welcome. young team in command. beautiful view from the terrace on the port.Côté menu, we find its happiness! I recommend the Thai salad that you don't find anywhere else, pleasant flavor and it changes! The gambas skewer is also very good with a pepper/skin sauce! the top is the gourmet coffee that is sublime!I forgot, in apéro, the ti punch / accras bien frais passes well even ! a good restaurant, accessible in price, with a superb view and coastal paths to be discovered right next to it! to take a good bowl of air after the meal!"

"This establishment was recommended by hotel staff. The main issue is that when you try too hard to be too many things at the same time. The cuisine is fait maison and while I did not see any French official seal contribution to the statement we gave it a try. The menu is fairly long however likely due to the fact we had dinner on a Sunday. Young man upfront asked if we had reservations as if we were entering the graal. Tables are set with colored cups (local thing maybe) the placemat is made of paper like a brasserie and the napkin made of paper. The food overall was neither great however not bad for an hungry travelling couple. The staff and the kitchen did not appear in synch since the dessert ordered upfront was no longer available by the time dessert came. The staff is young and friendly however, we could smell smoke on them which was not pleasant. The music was American , we are American so I asked why the choice . This the track our chef uses and likes. I guess someone forgot that we all had to listen to it. Overall it is a fair food place great for a very casual dinner."

"Le Rive Gauche is located in the center of Doelan, overlooking the harbor. There is a nice dining room and a very scenic terrace across the street with a pleasant view of the harbor. The current owners bought the place 3 years ago. The food is quite good with fresh local products and some bold innovations (beet ice cream). There were 4 of us for lunch; we sat outside. The meal was excellent. After cocktails (the americano is good0, two of us ordered croustillant de chevre (goat cheese roasted with lettuce and honey and bacon), the other 2, local (Merrien) oysters served on the half shell. These were followed with the special of the day, cod or pollack filets served with a delicate sauce and vegetables and lightly spiced monkfish with rice and vegetables. We finished with kouign amman, a local pastry made with butter, more butter and sugar. We had a bottle of Riesling. The total check for 4 people came out to 210 Euros, reasonable in light of the quality of the meal and the location. Service was also good. The owner seems very engaged. The season has now started; they are open every day except Wednesday. We will go back."

"Nous étions venus pour déjeuner un samedi, très bien accueilli, le serveur n'a pas hésité à jouer sur l'humour lors du service. Ce qui donne une ambiance conviviale au restaurant. Quant aux plats, ils sont bien garnis et la qualité est également au rendez-vous (pour information, nous avions pris une formule entrée/plat et plat/dessert). Nous recommandons ce restaurant !"

"Perfect. Everything was great from entry to dessert. The Burger (double) was perfect and I put it in my top. Very good meat and bread. I loved the generous amount of cheese flowing all the height of the burger. Perfect kitchen. It is rare that I take a dessert but after reading the comments, I let myself try by the Tiramisu (homemade) and I absolutely regret nothing. The boss is also very friendly; We barely feel at home right away. At my next stop in Clohars, I'll be happy to test the other dishes on the map."
