The bartender Jesse is super friendly and efficient! We ordered the falafel and it was delicious!!!! The strawberry blonde beer is so yummy!

I LOVE coming here. The chef has this menu on point and the beer has consistently been getting better. My favorite place in town for dinner, easy.

Food and service are quite good. We like to sit at the bar, and haven't been disappointed. If you're looking for killer ambiance, this is not your place, but that leaves all the more for the rest of us! Give it a try you won't be disappointed. View menu

Pleasantly surprised by this little brewpub, which offers tasty clearly marked vegan food options, as well as interesting beer. Flights have 5oz pours. Love that they had a sour on tap, though their golden ales are not too be slept on. Staff was super-nice. The space itself is airy seems larger than it is.

What a fantastic brewery! The beer selection is impressive and the quality is top-notch. The food is outstanding as well. The staff is consistently friendly, engaging, and well-informed. The service and atmosphere are excellent. I've visited Light the Lamp numerous times, and each experience has been wonderful! I highly recommend it!

Light the Lamp is a really fun brewery in the heart of Grayslake, IL. They always have a large and impressive list of taps, with some subtle nods to their hockey fandom in the beer names and brewery decor. For my main course, I opted for the Nashville honey hot wings. I appreciated that the wings were served naked with the sauce on the side, allowing me to control the amount of sauce without it being overwhelming. The service was excellent; our waitress was friendly and attentive. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, which added to the pleasant experience. I left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to return to sample more beers.

This place located in Downtown Grayslake is wonderful. Always coming out with new beers which are amazing. At this visit I had more than my share of Idiot Sandwich. Yes, it is their beer. I also tried Suerte but went back to Idiot Sandwich. With the drinks we ordered some wings with their mango habanero sauce. The wings come plain here and the sauce is used to dip the wings. First time back since the Re opening under the new management and let 's just say the service has gone downward quite a bit. Had a reservation through OpenTable app and our table wasn 't ready so we waited about an additional 10 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited about a half hour till a waiter acknowledged our table and brought us water and took our drink order. 15 20 mins. Later our drinks were brought out we waited about close to an hour for our food order to be taken and after that we waited another hour for our food to be brought to our table.
