"Totally hit the spot and prices were great for San Francisco. Tried multiple items on the menu which were mostly solid. Outstanding water veggie stir fry and beef rendang- super tender and flavorful sauce. The only one which fell below par was the stir fry noodle which was a bit over cooked and also had just small pieces of sausage as others have mentioned. Presumed owner or manager took our order and was super friendly and also gave us a plate of garlic rice on the house as we didn’t think to order any rice for the beef, which was a nice gesture and earned the extra star for above and beyond! Would go again even though it’s wayyy on the other side of town for us."

Food was delicious, really liked the laksa. And compared to the other more hip places like Burma Superstar (which I also love), this was much kinder to my wallet. Generous portions, great value. Coming back for more.

The restaurant offers delicious Indonesian cuisine with halal meat. The owner is very welcoming and provides excellent service. Highly recommended for those who enjoy Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean food. Some dishes come in generous portions.

We tried the Prata, Nasi Goreng, and Laksa at this restaurant. There was a great blend of Indonesian and Singaporean flavors in the dishes. Although the laksa was different from what I've had in Singapore, it was absolutely delicious. As a Singaporean, I really enjoyed it and it satisfied my taste buds. The owner was also very friendly. We had a wonderful dining experience here! View menu

As a Singaporean, you don't know how sad I am to see Singapore curry noodle being ruined like this. I guess similar to Singapore noodle or whatever it is, you will never find that in Singapore. A real Singapore curry noodle should have yellow curry, steamed chicken, yellow noodle and rice noodle in a mixed. Sometimes with potato that has been cooked in the curry for a long time, absolutely delicious dish. Even though this place is recommended by fellow Singaporeans, but yeah nothing they sell here is similar to what we have in Singapore. Sorry, not good enough for me.

The restaurant offers great food, service, taste, and ambience. After several days in San Francisco, we finally found a restaurant that serves Indonesian cuisine. We enjoyed dishes such as Chicken Satay, Madura Soto, Fried Noodles, Chicken with Rujak spices, Gado-gado, Crackers, and Tempe, along with bottled tea in box packaging. The flavors were a treat for traditional Indonesian cuisine, and the service was friendly. The Soto Madura had a strong spice, the Chicken with Rujak seasoning was bold, and the fried tempeh was a favorite among friends. The delicious fried noodles had a subtle savory taste that we enjoyed.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
