"5/5!I recently went here for lunch with my brother and his girlfriend as they wanted to introduce me to something new to eat in RVA. And all I can say is, I'm glad they took me here. The food was incredibly delicious and the staff here were very friendly and attentive!The food: I decided to try two things, since I'm not here often and we'll, why not? I had the Llanera Arepa 8) and the Criollo with Chorizo 12). The Llanera Arepa had steak, cheese, avocado and tomatoes. It was hands down the best arepa I've had so far. The corn meal was cooked perfectly and didn't crumble or breakdown on me. It was perfect.! The steak was cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. I would've been good with just one arepa and maybe a side of yuca. The Criollo was delicious as well, I had no complaints on anything.The service: the staff were friendly and attentive while we were there. Had a few check ups to see how our meal was, and food came out in fairly good time.Overall, I highly recommend coming here. I know I'll be back, and I'm looking forward to try new items! 5/5!"

"I absolutely love this cafe! I didn't think I liked chicken salad but my coworker brought me here a few months back and I've been hooked ever since! If you're looking for a recommendation I'd suggest the BLT on croissant with the sassy Scotty. I've tried a bunch of their sides as well and I can wholeheartedly say if you think you might like it you'll definitely love it! Just give the shop a try, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful if you have questions. The service all around is phenomenal! They also have an app where you can earn point for every order with them and it'll work up to free food or money off your next order."

"Typically, I wouldn’t rate this restaurant highly. Given the staffing shortages during COVID-19, I expected better service, but that wasn't the case. I received a cup of soup instead of the bowl I ordered, which has happened before, and there was no spoon provided to enjoy it. On the bright side, the food was good. The standout aspect of my visit was Chris, the cashier. He was exceptional—personable, professional, and efficient, managing everything on his own during the lunch rush. His excellent customer service is the only reason I would consider coming back."

"Don't let the strip mall and so so exterior fool you! We made reservations for 6:45, but arrived early. We were seated immediately! For us, this was the first time we experienced immediate seating since we started using Open Table. Food service were impeccable! Our first visit to this restaurant impressed us so much that we ordered take out for my husband's parents! Diana, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. All her suggestions were spot on! The menu is extensive and there are dinner lunch specials. Not sure what to order? The Combination Platter is perfect. Make sure you leave room for dessert! Don't miss this hidden gem!"

"Wow! Where to begin!! First off I was looking for spumoni for my mother who hasn’t been able to find it and she’s been talking about it for about 2 years. Through searching I found it on their menu! So my mom came to visit from NY for thanksgiving so tonight I decided to take her. This was mine and her first time at Grapevine. What a beautiful restaurant! Inside and out! Very warm and welcoming. The staff is incredible! From being seated to the waitress Mandy (I believe) fantastic! A lovely lady complimented my makeup and was so sweet!! There’s an appetizer that they have with a flame and the whole staff yells OPA! They don’t seem annoyed at this and thoroughly enjoy it! We tried the boom boom shrimp which was to DIE FOR! If you don’t like a lot of spice I suggest the sauce on the side. I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and it was amazing! The crust was great! My mother ordered the meat lasagna and wow! The serving sizes are massive and the quality was fantastic! She got coffee that she said was strong and good, her spumoni and I got a dessert with honey and custard (not sure the name) it was wonderful! The entire experience was phenomenal. I spoke with the manager who was so nice because they’re doing such an incredible job! In this day and age it’s been so hard to find a restaurant with workers who seem to actually enjoy being there and interacting with guests and each other. Just wow!! I will be returning with my fiancé and his parents! This will be our new date spot for sure! Thank you again for a wonderful experience! So happy my mom was here to enjoy this!!
