"Had dinner there tonight with my family at 6pm, all 9 of us. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere is like a family gathering, excellent. The service was fantastic, the waitress made us feel as if we were her only customers, and she was so patient with the kids. Overall a great dining experience. My meal in particular, was the best Baked Penne that I've had in 20 years since my grandmother passed away. We are only in town for a week, but we are going back before we leave."

"I want to be as respectful as possible so anyone who views this review understands my issues with this restaurant. Issue #1: Wait times. We were told our pizzas (2) would be ready within 30-35 minutes. We waited 55 minutes before we were given our pizzas, and with no updates throughout, something which I will get to later. Issue #2: The food quality. When we finally did recieve our pizzas, they were undercooked, and lacked any flavor. The crusts were non-existent, and the sauce was extremely minimal and lacked any flavor as well. We had to resort to using loads of ranch and other extra seasonings that we were given. Even the ranch was horrid, I 'm genuinely as to how a restaurant could have such poor quality food let alone the sauces. Issue #3: The service. The waitress that we had had some attitude. In addition to that, she never checked on us during the wait, didn 't give us the chance to ask for more water, etc. At one point we had to ask another server to find her because we wanted an update on our food, and then after a few minutes she finally came, updated us telling us we were getting our pizzas in the next 3-4 minutes (when in reality they ended up coming over 15 minutes later), and then we had to ask her for more water. All in all, my group (5) had a terrible experience at this establishment. I understand every now and then seeing an issue with food quality, or maybe the server was extremely busy, etc. But this was an almost systematic failiure in every point of our experience. The service was subpar, the food was terrible, and the wait was horrendous. We ended up tipping our busser because he was the only one serving us. Shoutout to that man, he made the experience slightly less terrible. We will not be coming back."

"I ordered a large thick crust pizza and it was absolutely fantastic! It was exactly what we were craving! The crust was so substantial that my friend and I couldn't finish it between us. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and took excellent care of us. For dessert, my friend opted for the cannoli, and I have no idea how he managed to eat it after such a huge meal! We will definitely be returning! I especially enjoyed the slices of fresh Roma tomatoes on top of the pizza."

"After living for years in Chicago, it was nice to be back for business and to be able to enjoy some deep dish pie just like the old days. I love that their crust is vegan unless you order the butter style. So check the website before you order. I did mine as a tomato pie with veggies and the crust still made my individual pizza amazing and worth the price tag. This location also did a great job delivering to us on site at work downtown, so I highly recommend them both based on the quality of their product and their service. For work we did thin crust and it was cut into little squares and we were provided serving utensils, napkins and plates, which made a company lunch super easy. Lou's always wins the Chicago deep dish battle with me! I have a lot of friends on the other side of this fence, but until they're vegan friendly and offer such great service, I'll be hanging with Lou."

"I just want to give a huge shoutout to the Florence Little Caesars!! I don?t know his name, but the guy with the glasses that takes the orders is the best customer service guy ever. And him and the cook have turned this restaurant around. A few years ago, I hated this one, but now I literally won?t go anywhere else. They make those pizzas FRESH. For $7, that stuffed crust pepperoni cannot be beaten. What even is dominos now. And he always has a smile on his face and is so nice. Seriously don?t get pizza anywhere else; they?ll take great care of you! Owner of this joint, give the two men working tonight a huge promotion cause they deserve it. Love, a loyal customer who now comes every week because of the workers good food they serve."

"Store opens at 11 and I get there shortly after for the entrance to still be locked and the guy working to say he's not having pizzas ready for another 30 minutes. He said he's working alone and busy with whatever else. I understand you may be busy, but the pizza cooks itself. All he had to do was put one in the oven but instead chose give attitude and not provide service. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because every other time I go I don't have any problems and the pizzas usually freshly made"

"Good service. Excellent food. We had the filled spinach bread, buffalo wings and a deep pizza. The spinach bread and buffalo wings did not come out long after the order. Shortly after we finished our appetizers, the deep pancake came out. Lou has the best sauce and crust, and the deep dish is not too thick as a filled pizza. Our server has regularly checked for us to fill drinks and make sure we enjoy the food. Good atmosphere. There's a small bar area at the back with some TVs."

"I found a seat at the bar and met a nice elderly couple from Massachusetts who were also waiting for their table. After about 20 minutes, I was able to place my order. However, I wasn't really enjoying the bar seating experience. The smell of bleach and dirty mop water was incredibly overpowering, and I found it distracting that the bartender had to make every drink right in front of me. But I digress. I ordered a small Chicago classic pizza, even though a part of me wished I had stuck with my original choice of a personal pan pizza, but it was too late for that. I was informed that the pizza takes about 20 minutes to make, which I totally understood. When it arrived, I thought it was just okay. Personally, it had too many tomatoes for my taste, and it didn't seem to have extra cheese like I had hoped. The lean sausage was definitely the highlight; it seemed to be a patty placed on top, ensuring you got sausage in every bite. However, the crust was a bit too thick for my liking. It was definitely better when it was fresh out of the oven. I took two pieces to go, but cold deep dish pizza is really not the best experience. I’m not sure if I’m a fan, but I would definitely be willing to try another Chicago staple if I visit again."

"This place offers fantastic deep-dish and thin-crust pizzas. However, it's important to note that this location is strictly for pickup, and I wish they had a sit-down option in this part of town. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly. My main concern is that the prices for the pizzas keep rising; I paid about $38 for a large deep-dish during my last visit. Because of this, I find myself only dining here a few times a year now. If you appreciate my honest reviews, please like my post and follow my Google account. Thank you!"

"It was my first and only dip dish pizza and honestly I didn’t get it. Don’t know if I just got a “bad batch” or it all tase like this. But dough was tasteless, then it was a loot of cheese and tomato sauce… Nothing special, so spices, no basil.. it tasted very blend. That’s my experience. I ordered to go, my order was ready at assigned time, no problems with that. I was there Saturday evening, place was packed and many people were waiting for to go order. So keep that in mind, maybe come in earlier or order to go."

"Oh my lord. Okay, so, I've never had pizza like this. I've had west coast pizza, I've had New York style in New York, I've had other deep dish pizza, but this? I had no idea what i was missing. I ordered simple, just pepperoni, mushroom and fresh basil, I swear I could smell the basil as Anthony brought the pizza to me. The sauce is amazing with just a hint of star anise (not too much which is a common mistake) which made the sauce pop. Perfect blend of cheeses, flavorful pepperoni, piping hot. Each piece must have weighed a pound. Anthony and the hostess crew were great, friendly and welcoming. I ordered a beer and it was poured and at my table in probably two minutes or less. If you're trying to decide whether to eat here, look no further, choose Lou Malnati's. You will not be disappointed. PS: I liked it so much I came back four days later!"

"I ordered a small Chicago classic with sausage and mushrooms for pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, the cashier said that he cannot find my order. Than a woman, who was working, overheard me when I showed the cashier my recent call list on my iPhone. She said she was from the Highland Park store and that the order was accidentally placed there. I then told her I am not driving to Highland Park. She said I don’t have to and that if I would wait 30 minutes, they will give me one for free. That was satisfactory for me so I agreed. When an employee brought me the pizza, I noticed that it was large, not the small one I ordered. I was really overwhelmed and I have to say that Lou Malnati’s really is generous in rectifying a mistake!"

"Although growing up I never tried Lou Malnati's, they have become my default go to for pizza over the years. The quality is impeccable across their pizza doughs, sauces, accoutrements, and salads; the deep dish pies are lusciously layered while the thin crust pies are lighter on cheese and sauce but still packed with flavor and baked perfectly. The salads are also very generous and a very good deal, heaped with innumerable toppings and their classic signature dressing.Three other aspects are their frozen pizzas, loyalty program, and community tie ins. Pre packed frozen pizzas are available in store, but also online for shipping anywhere, often with discount promotions available. There is also a points based loyalty program for free pizzas and sides at certain thresholds, and an app for ordering. They also have been a philanthropic organization in the surrounding communities for decades with outreach and charitable work.Lou Malnati's pizzas deep dish or thin are some of the best I have ever enjoyed, and I look forward to the next time we order."

"Not the same less ingredients and higher prices. When companies start doing this they are losing customers and headed for a grand closing. 2 weeks ago, my wife and I stopped in to pick up 2 pizzas for our family and were given the wrong order (a thin crust kids pizza) when we ordered a medium deep dish half sausage, half spinach pizza. We called to speak to the supervisor, and she said she would mail out a coupon instead of putting a free pizza on my telephone number. Well, it’s been 3 weeks, and we have seen nothing. We stopped in 2 days ago to pick up another pizza. We informed Ciara, the manager on duty in Flossmoor, Illinois about the issue, she was very dismissive, act like she didn’t care, and said the coupons are on her desk in the back. Instead of giving us the one that they promised, she said she’ll mail it out and walked away. The general manager Yami sent an email basically doing and saying nothing as well. Buyer beware because if they messed up your order they will not correct it. By the way, we drove over 40 minutes to this location. After reading all the negative reviews on Google and Yelp, I’m positive nothing will happen and this is how they do business. When people start to experience Ciara’s attitude I’m sure eventually it’ll be a grand closing of that location. Go to Giordano’s, the service is much better."

"Hate to complain but horrible service here. Have eaten at Lou Malnati 's in other locations before, and get take out from a different location somewhat regularly. Last night we went to the DePaul location after a lovely nearby event. It was a beautiful, warm night out and they had outdoor tables. Hostess or front counter person was friendly enough, though because we would have been the only table outside told us it was better, service wise, to eat indoors. In retrospect I wonder if she was possibly worried of the wrath of the server. That server who we got ten minutes in seemed unhappy from the moment she walked up and was not very amenable to questions. We ordered a beer and a cider (both in bottles , caesar salad to share, and medium pizza.A few minutes later, bottles were flung down on our table, no glasses or here you go just flung by server who was gone in less than a flash.Caesar came about 10 15 mins later, by a food runner. There were no plates or silverware on the table and as she walked away we asked for them and fresh ground pepper, and if we could get another beer. But no one brought us plates or silverware. We asked again to no avail and we eventually got up and found some ourselves. Maybe they had a big takeout business but there weren 't that many tables. When the server did come by we asked again for fresh ground pepper (which most places with entree salads provide and the one beer. She seemed unaware of what a pepper grinder was. She came back with the wrong drink, not the beer we had ordered, rushed off (so we had to flag her down and then blamed us for the error. Wow. No one took the dirty salad plates away, until we asked, no one took the empty bottles away ever. It was down to maybe two other tables at this point. We had just come from an amazing event so we still had a great time with each other, and were pretty successful at ignoring how rude the server was. But never again will we go to this location. The pizza was decent enough (if small they don 't tell you the size in inches on the menu and no one seems to know the dimensions . The caesar had too much dressing but we were starving and ate it all and it tasted good do not understand why they add tomatoes to it though. Would still get the food again to go or delivery but the rude server (we 're sure she was having a bad day but no need to take it out on guests! and just bad overall service experience in a restaurant without much ambiance (except for those outside tables is a no go."
"I’ve only visited one other Little Caesars in the two years I've lived in Virginia, and I quickly remembered why I stopped going there as soon as I placed my order for a 3 Meat Classic and saw the price. This location is much better in my opinion. The employees were calm and focused; they genuinely seemed to care about taking my order correctly the first time. My food was served in a timely manner and was nearly perfect—every corner was loaded with toppings, and I didn’t even ask for extra. Most importantly, my son’s cheese pizza looked exactly how a cheese pizza should. He’s only 7, but as soon as he was happily enjoying his favorite pizza without any issues, I knew this place was a winner for us!"

"Tried @loumalnatis for the first time this past weekend! This is the Midway location. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers- mozzarella sticks and BBQ boneless wings. Trying to be healthier in 2022, we even ate the lettuce leaf and celery sticks! Lol Love that they didn't skimp on the dipping sauces too. The Chocolate Obsession dessert, which is the real reason I came here, is offered for a limited time, so get yours while you can! It was especially tasty once it had thawed out a bit more. I ate most of it at home. Now the pizza "

"I've been ordering from this Little Caesars for five years, and to be honest, the management and staff have often raised some concerns. Unfortunately, the quality of the product has never quite matched that of other Little Caesars locations. In fact, this store has gotten my order wrong six times in a row. It wasn't anything catastrophic, but still, getting it wrong six times in succession is quite frustrating! However, this past Saturday night was a different experience. The person at the counter seemed to really know what he was doing and genuinely cared about his job. He was not only efficient but also kind and helpful. My order, which was supposed to be ready at 6:14, was actually completed well ahead of schedule, unlike my previous experiences. Best of all, my order was correct this time and looked and tasted fantastic! Dear Management, as a business owner myself, I recognize good employees when I see them. Please do everything you can to retain the staff that worked on the evening of Saturday, April 6th. Your business will thrive with them on board."
