Best deep dish Pizza there is. Just be prepared, the pizzas take 30min to make. It’ll be a loooong 30min waiting if you’re dining in as you can see the others enjoy their lovely pies while yours is still in the oven

The pizza and salad that we ordered along with the service were all excellent! Only reason for taking off one star is that the mixed drinks were not that great. Other than that, top notch and with ample parking during our visit on New Years eve!

After a 40-minute wait at this Chicago pizzeria we finally got down to ordering the famous Chicago Deep Dish Pizza which was baked just for us so it took another 30mins for it to be served. But all the wait was worth it and we were super full by the end.

Went here on Saturday for dinner and surprisingly not as busy as I thought it would be. I ordered just the classic personal size. It takes about 30 minutes for the pizza to bake, so just be sure you have enough time. It was very good and delicious, so filling. View menu

So this place is famous for their deep dish pizzas just like giordano's but it's quite underrated. The thin crust pizzas here are good too. A must visit place for pizza lovers. <br/ You can also customise your pizza by adding and removing toppings and suiting your taste.<br/ <br/

If there is any place that can help you get over your cheese cravings it's this. I had placed an order for delivery for the Lou though I was very skeptical as to how it will be as delivery is always a risk but the pizza was perfect and delivery right on time. The tiramisu was superb too. Ordering soon again.

Incredible pizza! Was visiting Chicago and ordered it three times in two weeks! Would highly recommend the butter crust sausage deep dish pizza, with lots of added on toppings. The calamari and Caesar salad are also really good. It will take them a while to make and deliver it so be sure to order it in advance! View menu

Delicious Malnati salad (individual size was honestly a family-sized appetizer), stuffed spinach bread, and “the Lou” veggie deep dish pizza. Salad was very well dressed and had a nice texture with the cheese crumbles and crunchy bacon bits. Personally, was not a hugeee fan of the butter crust on the deep dish, but still enjoyed the pizza. It was a tad on the saltier side. Overall, enjoyed the food and service, though I wouldn’t say it’s the best deep-dish pizza I’ve ever had.

We wanted to try some authentic Chicago deep dish pizza and our friend suggested this place. The fried mushrooms and buffalo wings were ridiculously good. I highly recommend getting apps here because the deep dish takes about half an hour to make. The pizza was awesome to me. We just got the standard cheese with butter crust (which is actually trademarked by the restaurant). The crust was crunchy, there was great quality cheese, and the sauce was very fresh tasting...almost sweet. I would definitely eat there again.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
