"We had hoped the meal would be worth the wait, but sadly, it was not. The fish was overcooked, forcing us to peel off the breading, and although I usually enjoy crispy fish, this was merely overdone. The shrimp was also overcooked and heavily breaded, making it tough to separate, let alone chew. The hush puppies were hard and overcooked, adding to our dissatisfaction. Surprisingly, the fries were cold and tasted stale, even though we were the first customers of the night and waited so long for our meal. The coleslaw had an overly thick and creamy texture that didn’t appeal to us. To make matters worse, our waitress walked by multiple times without clearing away the plates from the four out of five of us who were clearly finished eating. Eventually, someone from our party had to get up and wait at the front just to pay the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, both in terms of food quality and service."

You must stop at this restaurant when driving from Houston to College Station. The food is excellent, the decor is outstanding, and everything is really clean.

We had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is beautiful, and our waitress, Amber, was exceptionally gracious. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was perfect. My husband tried the fried catfish, which he also loved! We couldn't be happier!

The food is good but not outstanding, and I wouldn’t choose to spend my money here again, especially when there are so many other places that truly appreciate their customers and deserve your support—like McDonald's, for instance. While on a work trip, I decided to pop in for a quick meal and I was pleasantly surprised! My hamburger was cooked to perfection. The kitchen was also very accommodating regarding my food allergies, which I really appreciated. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was enjoyable (which is important to me), and the place was spotless. From now on, this will definitely be my go-to spot for lunch or dinner whenever I'm in the area! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

This restaurant has significantly declined since our last visit. When my family and I went there for lunch, the food was merely average. The most frustrating part was waiting 20 minutes just for the menu and then another hour for our meals to arrive, resulting in nearly a two-hour experience. On a positive note, the server was friendly and pleasant, but it was just her and her young children managing the service. They seriously need to hire more staff and enhance the quality of the food.
